Things are starting to look up for me and the rest of Houston. My dad came home last night, my hand is doing better AND I found an awesome Italian jazz CD that I really like. :D I am happy. Now if only the rest of the country felt the same way....

*sighs* I suppose pretty much all of you have heard the news lately. Arg. So tragic. It's so heartbreaking to hear about all of the innocent people who have had their lives taken away from them through the planes and whatnot...

okay...so school started today; and I am so exhausted -_- my feet and legs are completely sore...and my classes are all over campus, which means walking, and TONS of it. :6 Not only that, but the school is so HUGE that it's hard to find people I recognize most of the time =/

erm, other than that...I guess it's alright. I like having my friends to talk to again.
I would say more now, except I have to do my homework. Bleh.

ow! i cut my hand up pretty bad last night. i had to get four stitches. now, i can't take very good notes in class because of my hand. :B owee!! but on the plus side, i got a new layout up for rebel yell. w00t! :D i want to put it back on greymatter soon.

Hi you guys, I'm finally back! :) LOL, did you miss me? Ugh, Monday mornings are always so hard...but thankfully I only have one class today as my Media Writing class was cancelled...already the third week of school and she cancels class for the second time!

I finally saw Shrek for the first time this weekend...they play $2 movies at school and the movies are only a few months old. It's actually quite funny, I wish I could have heard it better...the volume was kind of low and people were laughing at really goofy parts. :)

Ack...I feel kind of jittery...not really. Summer kind of went by in a blur...in a sense that today it just suddenly seemed to dawn on me that school would start tomorrow. Does that make sense? I didn't think so.

but I'm not worried, really, because I know there's absolutely nothing to worry about. I always feel this way on the day before school starts, so no big deal. *shrug*

arg, I got my hair cut a few days ago and it's really short now -_- down to my shoulders...well, for me, that's pretty short considering it used to be down to my elbows. Ick :P Both me and my mom wanted me to get layers, but the stupid hairstylist wouldn't listen and said it would be too messy...arg. We're going to go to a different hairstylist next time :P

I've made two new layouts this weekend and a third is coming! w00t! I am a busy bee. :D Faith No More and the Anti-Muse both have new layouts! :D w00t! I'm making a new one for Rebel Yell today, even though I should be working on office work. But I can't! My office-work CD cracked in HALF!!! ;.; I can't do anything without it and it had ALL of my work on it. Now I have to start all over again. I need to get a stockpile of new CDs from work. :P Oh well.

Good work on the new "gossip" log. :D It looks fantabulous!

susan: glad you are back with us.. i know most of us are too busy to post now.. it's ok.. i will still leave rs here tho.. the reason i like cd better than tapes is because if i need to select a song, cd is so much quicker than tape.. that aspect of tape really annoys me.. but then cd is so much more expensive. but as the technology goes on, it'll be relatively cheaper. like you can burn cd online 100 for $20 now =) that is a good deal!
i cut my hair a while ago.. i like my hair certain length, anything longer just drives me nuts =P

Sorry everybody that I haven't been blogging! School starts tomorrow for me but classes officially start Wednesday. I don't know which order it is in but I'm taking:
-English (woohoo, junior english)
-Science
-Math
-French (core, hahaha, I got sick of extended)
-Computer Science
-Business
-Civics/Career Studies
-History
Grade 10 is boring but I get WAY better choices when junior year rolls around.
I have to put things in my backpack and make sure I remember my combo (I can not, I've had it for 3 years!).

hey everyone...
well, I've been meaning to post here for a while now, but I haven't had anything interesting to say...not that I ever do, heh. but you know.

*sigh* I need to get my hair cut...it's so long now. About an inch past my elbows. I like having long hair, but it gets in the way now since I always wear it down, and it's so damaged with all these split ends. I haven't had it cut in a year. I remember I got mine exactly the day before school started last September...

anyways, here's my schedule:

1st: English 1 Honors
2nd: PE 9
3rd: Spanish 2
- reading period (16 mins.) -
4th: Health Education
- lunch -
5th: Geometry
6th: Intergrated Science 1

and that's pretty much it. we start school on the 10th over here...it probably would've started on the 5th like all the other schools in CA except some guy took away our student free and minimum days...lol. I don't want to go to high school. It's going to suck so much. Bleh. Well, it shouldn't be that bad...but still. It'll suck anyways. :P I make no sense whatsoever. That's okay though.

anyways, a CD burner would indeed be nice. I would love to be able to burn my mp3s onto CDs. They should have a cassette tape burner :P or maybe there already is one out there. lmao...I've always wondered why people don't buy cassettes as much; considering they're cheaper than CDs. Because they're bulkier, maybe? *shrug*
I recently (lol, not really...more like weeks and weeks ago, but it still seems like recently to me *shrug* :P) got a scanner...yay. Heh, not really. The weird thing is that I've always craved so much for one, and once I got it, it was more like "whoop-de-doo. I have a scanner." maybe I'm just weird like that. :T

Sorry I haven't been posting lately; I've been more and more drawn into Dodo's MB, LoL. Anyways, I'm starting school the 4th, lucky me. -.- Today, we went over to my sister's school for a little 'Back to School' type of orientation. I saw many of my friends, as well some of my old teachers. It was great. =D I also got my schedule in the mail a few days ago. Here it is:

1. English
2. Geometry
3. Tech Ed
4. French
5. Gym
6. Lunch
7. Civics
8. Science

LoL, I have it all memorized. =D As of right now, I'm listening to my MP3's, and I'm really eager to get an MP3 burner. I dislike having to waist computer memory to listen to my MP3's, and my mom refuses to go out and buy CD's. -.- I'm going to ask my parents to share the cost of an MP3 burner for Christmas; I'm pretty sure they're agree, however stingy they are about money, because, after all, it does have several advantages to it. ;) The MP3 burners at the stores here seem to be a real bargain; $80 for the complete set, which includes burning files onto normal CD's, burning MP3's, as well as videos and the such. =D I've heard of other MP3 burners for twice as much. Any input? LoL ... By the way, I forgot to mention this, but ... the panda layout is so kawaii, Dodo. =D It's so cute; LoL, pandas are some of my favorite animals, considering my ethnicity and all that. ;) LoL ... Well, how's everybody else?

I started school on Wednesday. :9 w00t! All my teachers are awesome. I feel so loved!! My Physical Geology professor thinks it's awesome that I'm a Geophysics major. :D She's going to help me out alot since I don't have an advisor or anything. :B I don't usually talk to them anyway, but she's going to help me get an appointment. :9 w00t!

I'm also going to get to re-do my company's other website as well. :D I feel so loved!! w00t!!! My paycheck for the past two weeks is going to be about 400 bucks (hopefully, if they don't take out everything for taxes again. :B dammit) so I'll get to spend some money on myself. I might buy some things from my wishlist as well as some of my friends' lists. w00t!!

Dodo, imposters suck. :B Ask the owner of enveloped if she can pull the IP from her guestbook so you can track your imposter down. That really sucks. Good luck! :)

w00t! i've got a job now! :D School starts next Wednesday for me so I won't be able to post much (like I'm posting alot here anyway. :B Bleh....) I do web design and secretarial work for a drilling contractor in Houston. I r0x0rs, y0. XD lmao I also put up a brand-spankin'-new layout on Rebel Yell, which features Angelina Jolie. :9 I have those glasses, man!! :D w00t! I'm so r33t0, d00d!!! XD lmao Anyway, I should probably get back to pretending to work. XD lol Toodles!
