UPCOMING EVENTS:

* October 24 - Halloween Parade, Johnstown

The Halloween Parade in Johnstown is a VERY big event. It is televized live on WJAC-TV Channel 6. Once again, we’ll be participating with Nittany Greyhounds in the parade – this makes for a wonderful showing of greys. If you’re available for the parade, call Gale Koestler at 814-255-4013, or email Gale at galek@surfshop.net. Lets get lots of greys out there – this is a really fun event

* October 29 - Animal Fest, Jaffa Mosque, Altoona – 12-5 p.m.

Animal Fest at the Jaffa Mosque in Altoona is also a big event sponsored annually by Aid For Animals/Laws for Paws. It involves lots of organizations dealing with animal rescue, as well as kennel clubs, veterinarians, groomers, and features demonstrations, information, and sales of merchandise. Monica’s Heart will participate again this year. If you can bring your grey(s) for a while, let Kay know (814-942-3145). We NEED to schedule times for this so that we’re not bringing too many greys in at one time with all the other things that are happening there.
