I f Tool are the dungeon masters of the American alterna-rock scene,
then this album is proof Tool's singer/songwriter Maynard James Keenan
also has a romantic side. Keenan and his partner in this project, guitarist
and producer Billy Howerdel (who has been guitar tech for many famous
goth-rockers), demonstrate their expertise with plain heavy rock songs.
But they're also surprisingly adept at tender, Oriental-flavored numbers
with a sad-hearted, sometimes sinister outlook. At these moments A
Perfect Circle are at their most captivating, and it is this type of song
that puts them head and shoulders above much in the hard rock genre.

First and foremost, I should apologize for the sever lack of updates
that I have done, had some things to do and just never got around to
working on anything other than my personal page. So, once again..
sorry for the neglect and letting this page go to hell. I plan on working
something's out, putting up some MP3's and perhaps adding a small
section on "A Perfect Circle". What would you all like to see more of?
