I read too many magazines. I was suckered into this subscription to "Outside" magazine because they gave me a free pocketknife! Well, of course it turned out that the knife is a piece of crap. But the magazine is actually ok. It makes me want to go on vacation to far away places. Funny, that my subscription to Conde Nast Traveler doesn’t give me the same feeling. I have a full time job again, and I am already thinking about vacation! Here are some of the my many dream trips:

• Trek the 'haute route' through the Alps
  
• Go dog sledding in Alaksa / Canada / Scandinavia
  
• Learn to surf on an packaged surfing trip to Mexico
  
• Cycle through the French or Italian countryside
  
• Run a road race (5miler - half marathon) like the Spring Lake 5 (where I used to run back in jersey)
  

Usually when its time to take off from work, I can’t think of where to go or what to do.
Maybe if Blogger is still in business when it comes time for me to take a vacation, I can look back and get some ideas.
