The Ice Palace is probably the best Dark Angel fanfic I've read, ever. It's amazingly written, and the concept is brilliant. It really makes me want to read the book. Maybe I'll go to Waldens and see if I can find it.

That reminds me, I ordered a book from there on Sat., and the clerk--who was rather cute, but not gorgeous--was flirting with me. His name was Nathan, and though I loathe the name because of it's connotation since Nathan Beals, I'd like to talk to him again. He was talking about likeing SF&F books, and that was the reason they hired him. He gave me an application, too. *grin* Maybe when he calls to tell me my book is in, he'll give me his phone number, too. There's a thought....

People piss me off. I've unsubbed from WAndR, but I think I'll resub and go no-mail. There are some authors there that I really enjoy. Victoria has left, Molly and Jenngrrrl are being kicked, and Terri is gone. THere's not really a hell of a lot of reason for me to stay when all my friends and good writers are on WRBeta, and there' no flaming. People are shitheads. Now, I've gotta go.
