I have to admit alot of what I feel today is sadness, but beyond that is hatred. Hatred for the people and types of people that would cause such pain and destruction, and for the people that would celebrate it. I was told today that there were people even here, in Paterson, NJ celebrating this. The nicest thing we could do to those here in the U.S. that would celebrate such a tragedy is to deport them immediately. Immediately, because I would not mourn or feel any sympathy for these people if something were to happen to them.

I have spent alot of time today on the net, just reading CNN, and watching video and searching for images of this tradegy.

This image affected me alot, the view of my city, of our city...Worldwide the NYC skyline is a familiar site, and symbol of who this country is.
This morning, this is the view of our city.

I consider myself agnostic, but I will admit I prayed last night, for the victims and families of all those that are going through this tradegy. And for the future of not only our nation, but the planet as a whole, that we can get through this. And with as little pain and destruction to innocent people as possible, bring not only to justice those people that committed these horrible acts, but bring them to understanding the evil that they have committed.

The best site for news and information right now is CNN.com They have not only the latest news, but images and video.

As a resident of Hoboken, my roomate and I have a view of the NYC skyline. She and a friend went out to watch the Towers and the morning, with a video camera, and taped the fall of the two towers from our home in Hoboken, NJ. You can see that video here --> http://www.itelevise.com

One thing I speculated on last night with my father was the crash of the PA flight, that we thought maybe those people had been able to fight back against the hijackers, and that was why their plane crashed were it did. Today a friend sent me an article confirming that
--> http://www.dailyherald.com/special/terrorist/story.asp?intID=37146214

I have to admit, I'm confused , I don't understand how a group of men with knives, blades even, on plastic handles were able to hijack these planes without people putting up a fight, epecially if they had any idea that they were about to be flown into a building. Not when they are outnumbered.

There's so much to express, It's hard to know how to begin...

Sensless tragedy and death... I'm writing now, so as not to forget the immediate emotions and feeling, and shock we go through when something like this happens...
Ever morning i get up and go to work, catching a glimpse of the Twin Towers as a pass them along the Jersey side of the river. And every evening I see them, and the entire NYC skyline as I approach home, towards the Holland Tunnel, b4 I turn off into Hoboken. I've grown up in this area, and those landmarks are part of what is my immediate home, that I've known for 26 years.

This morning I'm woken up by my roomate, that a plane had crashed into one of the towers. We watched the news , stunned. I prepare for work when she comes running to tell me that there had been an explosion. And we watch, as they replay the tape, then from a different angle, and the intent is suddenly realized. That this was no accident. But strangely, despit all this I guess it doesn't hit. I go to work, and again see the Towers this time smoking as I pass, I thought to stop, maybe stay home. But it didn't hit me yet , i knew it was bad, we all knew. But until I heard that the first tower had crashed, you don't feel the magnitutde of what has happened

Then the other Tower falls, and I'm listening to my walkman at work thinking where are my friends, are they ok ? And like a domino effect, it continues.. you hear of the crash in PA, and the Pentagon. And all of this I'm listening to, detached.. and hearing back from friends that they are ok, but the worse reactions are from those people who's offices had access to TV, video. Describing what they had just seen.

I realized that until that moment, until the towers collapsed it just wan't real. While they stood, hope stood also. As much as you knew people were injured, and had been killed, you still had hope that maybe it wasn't as bad as we feared.

Driving back along 280, I didn't think i would be able to make it back into Hoboken, and I didn't, all tunnel entrances were blocked .. but you could see the smoke rising from where the Towers used to stand, and my heart dropped, to see it again, this time real. Not just a news report, or second hand, but real. I saw random cars pulled over the side of the road, and you know in your heart why they were there.. on an empty road, pulled over... there is no sense in an act like this.

When a natural disaster occurs, you can do nothing but mourn , and hope. But when a senseless act of violence such as this occurs, you hate also.

How could a group of people celebrate an action like this ? It wasn't just a group of random terrorist, yes the act is executed by a select group, but when you see on the news, and hear of the celebrations about such a tragedy occuring in another country, how can you not hate. How can you not hate and despise people, that would celebrate the death of others in such a way. No matter what political and religious differences, there is no excuse for such violence to occur against innocent people. This wasn't an act of war, but of hatred. And as 'wrong' as some people would feel my opinion would be, a society that breeds hate, and celebrates violence and the death of innocent people are nothing more than a cancer on the human race. And as such, should be delt with.

Life is hard enough , dealing with natural disaster, and disease.. that the intentional harm and celebration of unsuspecting human beings, in such a cowardly way has no excuse.

My trip to the Hamptons

Was really eventful... we somehow managed to pack a whole summer of the Hamptons into one weekend! at least thats what i was told...

Want to visit the Hamptons..? Need a NICE place to stay ?
http://www.WestHamptonHouse.com

Place to definately check out in the Hamptons, if your into dancing, club music, and a day party...Neptunes Beach Club ... GOUMBA CAPITAL...haha, i though there were mad guido's in Jersey... well, I forgot i was going to Long Island!

Its a good time, good music, lots of enery.
I got grabbed for a photo there, that may show up in "Long Island Summer", if it does, and i get a copy.. i'll put it up...

Two other party spots we packed were Consience Point, where that crazy Hamptons chick ran the line over earlier in the year. The music was hip-hop mostly , little dance mixed in. Tavern was the other club we hit , good music.. good time.

WARNING: getting drunk and dancing on stage is acceptable, so is knowing when your done. Even thinking your a diva is acceptable when your drunk, as long as you don't say it out loud. Not acceptable is having to be carried out by your friends (THANKS Stacey!, and everyone). Please don't let this happen to you .

I admit it.. i got a little drunk... it happens... as long as your have a good time, and don't worry people by carrying a pillow into the bathroom with you so you can take a nap there when you get back from the club. That is also not acceptable when other people have been partying to , and need the bathroom.

So memorable moments and quotes of the weekend...

'I may act crazy, but I don't smoke crack'

'You look familiar, have you ever done porn b4 ?'

"you look like a girl who can EAT"-Dave

"I'm getting some from the big muscle dude who did the prayer over the wine on Friday"-Amber

"See when something happens thats just perfect its serendipity"-Will

"I can't believe the black hat got with the shiktza, shitktza appeal..."-Dave

"He got really upset when I got a nose bleed, I was trying to break my K addiction so after 3 days of doing lots of K I spent 3 days doing lots of coke...."

"this weekend was good, we had alot of partybabies"

"those mirrors over the hottub have gotten alot of use"
"yeah mirrors are kinda kinky"
"no, thats not what I meant...."

weekend long question-"How do you know everyone in the house?"Wait who do u know in the house?"

not just guidos- big big guidos we refer to as "goumbas"
DISCLAIMER - none of the quotes above came from me! they were just interesting quotes I'm reporting... *ahem*
