Lot's of news in such a short time! First off let me begin by apologizing for the lack of updates. My ftp software went kerflooey and I had no site access for almost 3 days. I managed not to pull out all of my hair and with the help of a wonderful friend I am back on my feet again! Ok so on to the news!! It's nearly 4am so please bear with me.... -- Rob Evan is a busy little bee these days. He will perform at the President's Inaugural Ball on Jan 19th (unfortunately making him unavailable for the Arci's event on Jan 18th) and he will read the role of Jean Valjean with George Merritt on a live radio broadcast reading of Les Miserables. Check out his website for details. -- Juan Betancur will be making his debut on "All My Children" on February 12th as a "Hunky Tropical Hotel Clerk." He has some lines with "Arlene" who apparently is supposed to be dead! Ah such is a soap opera! Well if anyone could bring her back to life it would be Juan! Set those VCRs!!! -- The Paper Mill Playhouse is just full of Jekyll & Hyde alum's these days! Robert Cuccioli who just finished his stint in Victor/Victoria will star in Funny Girl. -- Jekyll & Hyde is going to be broadcast on March 10th by Broadway Television Network. (BTN) This will be a nationwide event and you can get it on Pay Per View for only $19.95. More information to come as the event gets closer. Wednesday, January 10, 2001
After a bit of a haitus (also known as moving cross country) I have finally settled down and started updating my sites. So Let's see what we have for you this time! Wednesday, December 20, 2000
![]() Half-Pint records has just released a Christmas song guaranteed to melt the coldest of hearts. Featuring a whole slew of Broadway performers, a lot of which reads like a cast list of Jekyll & Hyde from not only Broadway but the Millenium Tour as well. This wonderful song was written for Aria Lams the young daughter of Jeff Lams, who was the Musical Director of The Civil War and Kat and the Kings on Broadway. Aria is 7 years old, and has been battling leukemia since she was 3. She underwent a bone marrow transplant last spring as a final attempt to rid her body of the cancer. Her older brother Jordan was the donor. On December 1st, the Lams family learned that Aria's Leukemia had mutated; it had survived the transplant. Aria must have another transplant as soon as possible, in order to try to save her life. Proceeds will be donated to make this life saing proceeder a reality. Tuesday, November 14, 2000
What's been updated, At a Glance: Saturday, November 11, 2000
Sorry for the lean amount of updates lately. 3 weeks till my move and wouldn't ya know it I have yet to begin the packing duties. [I think it's because it requires actually cleaning my room!!] Anyway on to your updates! As I mentioned below, there is a possible closing coming up January 7th for Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway. On the JHCASTS site you can read my post in further detail.
![]() You may have noticed the above banner on many of my sites. This past week the producers of Jekyll & Hyde on Broadway posted notice of a possible closing on January 7th. However if there is a change in the Box Office wind they could very well change the closing date to a later time or decide to continue the show until it would no longer serve in their best interest to do so. Anyone who knows me knows I love this show very much and would like nothing more than to see it run forever. If you had planned to see the show, now is the time to buy your tickets. Don't let this wonderful piece of Musical history slip away! get your tickets NOW! Email the Webmaster |
