I heard of someone else who did the tidy aussie thing and tried to make a wakeboard... he used fiberglass, and then discovered it was too flexable so he had to add wood around the edge which he fiberglass wrapped... for bindings he silicon rubbered a pair of sneakers to it... oh and it didnt float, so he gaffer taped two milk cartons to it. : )
