Blood, a new anime has gotten amazing reviews from many venues, including WIRED. Supposedly a seamless interaction of both 2D and 3D animation... I think I'm going to go out and buy it now. You could do the same, but you may not be a geek fanboy. Maybe I am. Maybe you are. Maybe we're as good as dead.

I got to see Sexy Beast the other day and I obviously had to recommend it... it's gettin dope reviews, I loved it, and all the kids cheer about it. Go see the Spivy film, and run with the metaphors it hands you on a plate.

Royal Tenenbaums looks like it will be hilarious... but way beyond that, the style of not only the movie but the web site is amazing. The flash work is so fluid and awesome. What a clever little place.

If you didn't know this about Bin Ladin and his reason/style of hatred towards the US, maybe you should read it. This is something that I've tried explaining to others, so it's good to find an article explaining the view.

Hudson Hotel by Ian Schrager, a minimalist designer. It's gonna be oh so dope because:
1) It's NYC
2) My school is paying for it all
3) I get to see all the bands for free around Manhattan for four days because of cmj
Jealous, yes?

cowboy bebop is the best designed and most artistic anime i've seen in a very long time... if you ever get the chance to see it on cartoon network, stop and watch and listen to the awesome soundtrack with many jazz influences... the coolest part is the beginning animation/intro-sequence. how amazing.
