Monday

My man R has a great new idea: non-alcoholic gin.

Alright, listen close: if you have a Game Boy Advance, it behooves you to purchase a copy of Advance Wars. It is the king shit (read: very, very good) and quite addictive. If you have a Game Boy Advance, stop reading this and go buy the game now. I'll wait. And if you don't have a Game Boy Advance...well, I can't help you much.

A lovely weekend was had by me, but now I have work to do.

Hey, after you get back from buying Advance Wars, go to Dummo and check out the Messenger Bags. Get one and live your dream of being a dirty bike messenger! For a limited time only! Actually, they are only available for a limited time. Get 'em before September 30th.

Friday

Yeah, it's been ten days. I'll admit it. The events of the past week haven't made me want to post much.

The LAN party went really well, with no problems (for the most part) except for the flying port-o-potties. I wish I would've had video of that.

Tuesday

Minister Charles Simpson has the power to make you a LEGALLY ORDAINED MINISTER within 48 hours!!!! BE ORDAINED NOW! As a minister, you will be authorized to perform the rites and ceremonies of the church!! Well, I know what I'm doing next weekend.

I have a totally short week ahead of me. Yesterday was Labor Day, and I had a lovely time at R and L's place with the cooking out and the sitting and the chatting. I work today, then tomorrow I'm at a technology conference in Green Bay. Then I work Thursday, and Friday I'm off to prepare for The Big Crap Shoot. This will be our fourteenth, and we'll have 80 or so people there again. Come Monday, I can guarantee eye strain and twitchiness.

Tuesday

I am absolutely addicted to the iced mocha latté. Addicted, I tell you. I am gonna have to join AA or something. And today, I just gulped it down. No sipping, no savoring, just wham-bam-thank-you-coffee girl with the dreadlocks, may I have another?

In other news, the two switches we bought for The Big Crap Shoot should get shipped on Thursday. Thursday=in time for the next LAN party, which makes me happy.

Other things make me happy as well, in case you were wondering.

Monday

Everyone loves the double-post.

Posting from Barren's place. Watched all the raw footage from the last TBCS and now I have to start thinking about making the TBCS13 movie. I gotta figure out what song to use. Being a director is hard work. No, really.

Alright, it's been a little while since I've updated, I'll admit. But I was eaten by wolves. No, really.

I saw the Jay and Silent Bob movie last night, and I really dug it. It's one of those things that you kinda have to be in on, so don't go to it if it's your first Kevin Smith movie. Watch the other four first, then go see this one.

Friday

There's this guy that works with me. He sits about 10 feet away from me. He's got a brown flat-top and a big mustache and looks like that D-Day guy from Animal House. He's gonna get a good old-fashioned Oshkosh pound-downding if he's not careful. And yes, I did want the third letter d in that word.

Waiting for a worker-person to show up here at my apartment. I was supposed to be to work an hour ago, and the worker-person was supposed to be here an hour ago. If someone (like the phone company worker-person or the cable-company worker person) tells you they'll be there at 8 a.m., then they really oughta be there before 9 a.m. Maybe this is some sorta crazy new idea, but it's so crazy, it might just work.

Wednesday

Sorry that I'm such a slacker-ass bitch. I've been pretty busy here at work (from where I usually post, I'll admit) and I've been doing stuff. Besides being pretty busy, things have been pretty damn good. And the weather's been nice and cooperative, too. So there you are: vague, but positive. Just how you like it.
