When internet dating goes wrong: we've all heard horror stories about internet dating, but usually they end up in someone climbing out a bathroom window to escape an overweight thirtysomething car salesman. This one ended up in a boy being shot and stuffed in the trunk of a car. It was apparently related to a Palestinian uprising, but I think is important as it shows how the goodwill involved in online dating/meeting can be abused. People online are occasionally exactly as they appear, mostly they're a little different, but as this indicates, sometimes they can be something else entirely. Looking at your AIM list with a little more trepidation now?

Hate Site Dies; Long Live Hate?: Pioneering hate-group monitor HateWatch.org is to fold, it's founder stating that "[it] has served its purpose". I suppose only time will tell if this will serve as a benefit (decreased scrutiny) or detriment (decreased traffic) to hate-group sites.
