"Cuts like a Ninja!!" Over 3 hours of Ninja Tune's finest are showcased on the amazing "Xen Cuts". Celebrating 10 years of tasty goodies, "Xen Cuts" spans many genres from trippy hip-hop, downtempo soundscapes, electified funk-jazz, and turntable trickery. And all this for the price of one CD. Keep it up, Ninjah!

And now, drum roll please, the surprise of the week (actually several weeks ago)... Madonna's "Music"! What a fantastic album. Who knew our lovely lady of pop would reinvent herself as a Parisian electro-pop diva? Well, it's no surprise really considering her acomplished "Ray Of Light". This time with the help of french DJ Mirwais Ahmadzai and William Orbit (again), she has created a album of absolute masterpieces. In fact, I am having a hard time listening to anything else. "Don't Tell Me" and "Paradise (Not For Me)" two of the albums softer songs are featured in the current broadcast.

Strict downtempo-headz already know that Thievery Corporation's "The Mirror Conspiracy", although long in the making, it was well worth the wait. Listen for a number of tracks from this album on the broadcast.

"Where the heck are those EZ BEATZ?" Have you noticed that the old link to "ez beatz" ain't working any more? I have retired the old Dethbunnie moniker and the only way to remove it was to create a new station. So here is the new station link : http://www.live365.com/cgi-bin/directory.cgi?autostart=ezbeatz. Update those links and bookmarks, please. Dethbunnie is dead, long live DJ Delicious!

Your host, DJ Delicious, has been hard at work updating the station with new music. The first of this weeks finds is the darkly seductive and deeply cinematic Goldfrapp "Felt Mountain". A collaboration between composer, vocalist, and keyboardist Alison Goldfrapp and composer Will Gregory, Goldfrapp takes inspiration from classical music, movie soundtracks, 60's French pop, and modern triphop. Alison has joined forces in the past with artists like Orbital and Tricky. Be sure to listen for Alison's haunting vocals on Tricky's "Pumpkin" making an encore appearance on "ez beatz".

Hi boys & girls... This is it -- the first day of summer! I have been quite a busy little boy, too. In fact I've been enjoying the warm weather so much that I haven't spent any time adding more features or recommendations to the site. And for that I apologize! As usual, I've been rapidly stocking my shelves with fantastic new music. So be on the lookout for new tunes on the station soon. One really tasty album I picked up recently is "close the door" by terranova. Incredible downtempo trip-hop worth picking up for those long, lazy summer nights. Mmmm, that's good!

I am so glad that summer is right around the corner. For me (and many of you) that means warmer weather, long weekends, and as many outdoor parties as I can handle. I just wish I could bring the ez beatz with me wherever I go. One of the disappointments with Internet radio is that it's great to listen to while doing work on the computer or hanging around the house, but what about those times when you're out and about? Plugging a laptop into an amp with with extention cords strung from inside to poolside isn't really a great option now, is it? Hmm. I can't wait for a satellite powered wireless network Internet radio (battery operated, of course)! Or maybe I'll just hold my breath and wait for the Kerbango Internet Radio, but it still has to be plugged into wall. ¡Que lastima!

Well, today it's official. DJ Delicious "the mood master" behind 'ez beatz', is the Featured DJ on Live365.com. Wow, what an honor! The woman who interviewed my told me that I was chosen because she was impressed by my station and amazed by the design work on my site. (And strangely enough, on the "six degrees of separation" scale we are only one degree apart, even though we had never met!) It's good to see that all of the many hours spent fussing over the station and my dedication to the music have paid off. You all seem to think I'm doing something right! I'd like to shout out a big thanks to everyone who has sent me e-mail (or just spread the word about 'ez beatz') for your incredible praise and encouragement. I'll continue to supply the phat tunez!
