BoomGolf Putting Microscope One of the many interesting products I evaluated at the recent PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando. I think it can really help all skill levels with their putting. Plus you get the added feature of having all balls returned directly to you. They say this means you can hit about 600 balls per hour if you want to. I think the 12 foot model is best for practice of longer and shorter putts. All orders come with a putting drill and tips videos. Here's some actual testimonials from Boom Golf as well. They are European based and as such have about 30 golfers on the European tour using the product, they indicate. By the way, Alex is the inventor and founder of Boomgolf. Testimonials: On a personal note I have to say what a effect it has had on my own game. Before I was a very confident putter but this has just sent my putting through the roof, the rounds of golf I have played since I got it. Every single putt I hit now starts off on the line I want it to, when the pace of the greens is more consistent ther will be no stopping me. It has also had a great effect on the way I teach, it is so easy now to teach the pupil how to putt. I am very hopeful that we can do some more business soon. Today, I had 30 putts and made 5 putts from over 15 feet and didn’t miss a single putt inside 6 to 7 feet. Final score was a 77 on a par 72 course, a new personal record! This past weekend, I had only 29 putts. I was a bit skeptical at first, but must admit that the practice is paying off. My stroke is much smoother and I feel much more confident over the putts. Now, if only I could read the greens a little better…….. proof that we are never satisfied. Thanks again for the exceptional product. At the end of June, I played in an Intermediate Scratch Cup and came second with a round of 78. But what really pleased me was the fact that I took just 27 puts - something I have never done before. Part of the reason for the good putting - it has to be said - was the superb greens, but for the first time in some 4 or 5 years I could see all those 5 and 6 footers rolling into the hole before I hit the putt. I have played half a dozen times since then and find that my putting is good if the greens are good and fast. On slower greens, I still have some problems with pace and do 3-putt on occasions. However, overall I am absolutely thrilled with the transformation the Boomerang has made to my putting game. Many thanks again for all your help and advise - I really appreciate it.
