april 7, 2001 | well, the good news is that i'm on yahoo now. =) another bright spot is that after losing all of my contacts because my visor (an extensible palm) sat around for a week with dead batteries, chris little sent me an email and we're back in business. now all that's left is finding tone again, we'll have some new tracks for you real soon now. finally, my new intel d815eea motherboard has some sweet onboard sound capabilities, so the tracks already here will be rerecorded (this week, probably) so their level isn't sickeningly low. it's gonna be a good year. expect a site overhaul too.
july 7, 2000 | recieved a rejection letter of sorts from yahoo.com, it said this page had a "under construction" note here and that's why it was rejected. that's got me sorta confused so i'm resubmitting this. i've had crazy training at work that has kept me from re-encoding those songs, this weekend should give me more than enough time to pull it off.
august 30, 2000 | it's been noted that the listed tracks are a bit low on the volume side. i'll get this corrected very soon, my bad.
august 29, 2000 | some of the tracks - especially the shoutouts - are a bit raw and unedited, much apologies. i just need to figure out some of this equipment, shouldn't be too hard, just need two half-hours to rub together, you know?
august 29, 2000 | glad to have this site up and running, it's been a few weeks in my head. my purpose for setting this site up is to present a musical style - bucket drumming - that for one reason or another doesn't have a single spot on the internet. i remember back in the early, early 90's and hearing larry wright while watching "green card". i spent the next half-year playing it for various people - "he's doing this with a *bucket*". a decade later i spotted a drummer outside tower records and the strength was so real.
any sites that crop up (or any that exist, tell me) will be posted here with much glee. love goes out to anyone wanting to support this art. and much respect to larry wright, the one who brought this live and kept it real.
