boring internal dialogue, #1.
Well, that new layout thing is taking time.

-Liar, you know you're not working on it at all.

Seriously, I don't have a digital camera anymore, so I can't do what I really want to.

-Liar, liar, liar. You're just too lazy to bother finishing.

fin

Glory-fucking-be, I got my Swivel Stick CD back from Matt Molehill (who did a "reunion" show last night... loud...slow...and unanimated for the most part..methinks Shane is getting too old...hehe..). I'll burn copies for you people. Just ask.

This here is an update from the sickly sanitary and bright environment of CompUSA. After an uneventful jaunt through the mall in search of new shoes, I thought I'd drool over some electronics.

By the way, Just For Feet sucks really bad. Not one decent pair of shoes in the whole store. Depressing.

Rack Room was almost as bad. Strangely, they had a display for some low cut Doc Marten's on sale, for $109.99. Just above the price it said "Compare at $109.99." I wasn't sold.

Dance Dance Revolution is the creepiest thing ever. Just go to the arcade in the Galleria. Seriously.

I'm having a sneezing fit, and I'm turning into my father. Dig this...

The other afternoon I was sufficiently bored enough to spend an hour driving around North Jefferson County (Gardendale, Morris, Kimberly, Warrior) looking at houses for sale. I know I'm a college student with a part time job, but I'm ready for a place. I want an old house, preferably with a front porch. I want to landscape (!!!!). I've never wanted to do yard work. Ever. evereverever. Now, I see these great old houses with bad yards and think "damn, I could fix that place up...hello Home Depot!" I want to find a "focal point" in my backyard, hopefully with a "water feature" of some kind. Maybe it's too much HGTV.

Anyway, there are letters to write and school work to do. Senior Seminar's gonna kill me.

This humidity has got to go. I've been playing runner at work today (take this to the courthouse... get me five copies of The Birmingham News...find me hubcaps for a '73 Pinto hatchback) and I feel like I'm swimming.

It is possible that I will be making a racket on the bass guitar with some fine fellows. Look out in the near future.

I'm fairly certain there may be no worse musical crime than George Michael covering Elton John songs. Make it stop! Damn you, soft rock radio!

I'm off to Clevo in the morning for a few days to visit with the parents and spend way too much money on records. Thank Kevin (or any deity who don't know nothin' about nothin') it's payday.

I have been encouraged to write everday, by my creative writing teacher. He's too damn young to be a teacher, having just finished a Master's. I'm sufficiently weirded out by a teacher that's maybe three years older than me. I need wisdom and old age and gray hair. But, I will be writing everyday (not necessarily here, though.. I'm just not that interesting).

"just like the sun going down on meeeee...."

Buurrrp.

Excuse me.

Anyway, if anyone wants to donate to my cause, I would certainly take it. I just learned I owe a whopping $46.40 to the school's library. Yeesh. Can't register without paying it.

It's a tax on stupidity.

I'm stupid.

However, I would like to take this time to thank the building gods at work for smiling down upon me. Their kind souls decided to furnish many delicious foodstuffs in the lobby. There was salsa that must have come from some secret garden hidden in the basement, as these tomatoes and onions were surely just taken from the ground in which they were grown. Divine. Seriously.

Going with the stupidity tax, check out this auction by the fine men in Plate Six. It's an old four track recorder that has lived the pirate's life (at least in a swimming pool). The auction is complete with a video showing the damn thing being thrown into the pool. People are bidding on it..and then asking if it works.

Stupid tax part three: If the opportunity ever arises for you to drink something called "Liquid Cocaine" while in a bar, DO NOT DO IT! Evil. Evil.
