Customer support via the Web is a big area of interest for me. When I first saw the Web and learned HTML back in 1994, I realized the potential of the Web as a platform for documentation and support. Ask Jeeves was an early leader in online question answering. Now that market is opening wide up.

My cable modem situation did improve for a period of time. I finally got through to a helpful customer service rep at my local Cox affiliate. A technician is supposed to come out to my house this week to check my cable line. Hopefully, my connectivity issues will be resolved by the end of the week.

My cable modem through Cox Communications Road Runner has been down since late Thursday/early Friday. Being on the phone with Cox technical support was frustrating. After an almost hour wait, I was brushed off in record time and told a rep would call me back.

Cox needs to get their act together a cable broadband ISP. The future is going to much more competitive.

I am posting through a dial up MSN account I received for free when I purchased my Dell notebook PC.

Looks like I have complaint letters to write to Cox Communications, and Fairfax County.

I was the technical editor for an Office XP book project. I am still debating on whether or not I should upgrade to Office XP right now or wait awhile. I liked the beta a lot. I just don't have a lot of business need right now for Office XP.
