i need a little break from this stuff so i'm going to disappear for a bit. if anyone had a 404 error lately, that's why... i just thought that leaving this up might be a bit more friendlier. i'm not to happy with the direction my blog has begun to go in and i'm hella busy with work and stuff, so i need to concentrate on other things at the moment. i'll post updates to my projects every now and then and maybe do a redesign and stuff of this, but for now, it's just gonna be this page. sorry. i can still be reached here: webmistress@superdyke.com

talks with carol in the morning drive in to work are always interesting. usually she talks about how much of a bitch her boss is, how she's organizing a union, or that she did nothing the night before, but this morning she was talking non-stop about bdsm. dont get me wrong, i have nothing against talking about bdsm, but the actual info she was sharing was just a bit too much information about her. now when i see her next all i think i will see is her in some leather suit whipping (or flogging) her ex-girlfriend. she went on about how when her daughter is older and has grown up she wants to fully live the bdsm lifestyle, have her dungeon, have a live in bottom girlfriend, have play parties, everything. never had morning mental images like that before.

one of the co-ops from months ago (he left when ron and i arrived here) came in today and i think he's begging for a job. cute. we have the right amount of people for the amount of work that we currently have, i dunno if hiring someone else would be the smart thing to do, but i think they're taking him back anyway. there's just something about this guy that sits weird with me, i dont feel totally comfortable around him like i do everyone else. he has something of a superiority complex that irks me.

tera threw her back out yesterday at work which totally sucks for her, she's in a lot of pain and i hate seeing her like this. makes me feel helpless, i want to do something but i cant because there *is* nothing i can do to help. left here at noon and drove to north van to pick up food for her for lunch, then had to come back. was cool that i didnt have to pay for parking again, thanks parking dude.

didnt have fabulous plans for this weekend but now i think it will definately be spent indoors. thats totally cool with me, i can just sit and play with ross's site. i gotta go over to his place though and make sure that he understands how he's going to enter in all his product information. want to get this thing out of the way asap.

i emailed matt last night asking if i could take today off to be around for tera but never got a response back, so i came in (i had to drive carol anyway). just as i got back from lunch with tera he tells me that if there is ever a time that we're not really busy (like now) that i can just assume that it's okay not to come in without needing him to say yes or no. bleah.

have a bunch of stuff for our own projects to work on but with the old co-op student here, i think we're going to play quake for a bit. hard friday.

ron hasnt come in yet, wonder what that guy is doing... this is sorta good tho, means i am saving money from not buying anything in the morning. woohoo. thought i was almost done ross's site then i discovered that we left out sale info -- sale price, sale start/end dates, blah. so now i get to try again and modify some of what is there. just want to get this done already!

going to start into my other project, tenpercentbent shortly too.

weird that i didnt blog yesterday... just been busy i guess. lots of stuff going on and we're in the middle of getting more work, which might mean the hiring of one or two more people. ron's trying to get ray to come here, from our old company, and i wouldnt mind jodie coming over too but we'll have to see how things go. think we're going gokarting on friday, which would be cool. another company bonding session, i think they call it.

beginning to understand programming and crap like that better and ross's site is coming together. just gotta get him to add in a bunch of things which leaves me wondering if i want to try to make him an admin side to it or just unleash him on the database itself, which could be deadly.

looks like another beautiful day out. driving ron home tonight in addition to carol because his car is in the shop, think i just need to stay home and finish up ross's site so he's off my back for good. quit my coffee, too, which is a big step... saving $3.15 a day (15.75/week, $63/month). havent had caffeine withdrawl headaches too bad, but yesterday was pretty brutal. aw well. gotta call about signing up for rowing still...

looks like it's going to be another beautiful day again, yeah baby! had our first real softball game yesterday and i caught for all of 4 innings, kinda wishing he had've put me back on third like last game but tera was there so it's cool, she did well.

think i am now giving up coffee from here on in. didnt get one this morning but the lady made one for me anyway and was surprised when i didnt take it, heh. played softball yesterday, our first 'real game', and we kicked their asses 19-5. from the looks of the other teams out there i think we have a really decent team. met a lot of cool people and i like that it seems as if you will get to know people not only on your team really well, but the people on the other teams too -- and it's a fairly large league. if i spend my sunday's like yesterday, that'd be great. just want to get a little bit more sleep the night before the games (tera and i were at ross and laura's to babysit while they went out whereever, and they didnt get back until 1am) and maybe think about sunscreen.

gotta start getting up earlier too, i feel bad that carol is usually at my car and waiting before i am. oh well. hoping to hear back about rowing and dragon boating sometime today since i called and left a msg at the deep cove rowing place on saturday. (which was another nice day, tera, nicole and i went to the raven pub and i still love that place... nicole is thinking of moving back to jasper, where she's from, after moving to vancouver only like 5-6 months ago.) gonna be another busy day i think, lots of deadlines. bring it on.
