Sometimes things change very fast. Life is looking good. Lots of very interesting things happening around me. It seems I will soon have to change the title of this blog.
The other day I booked a trip to Manchester for a long weekend. Peter (from work) and I will go to the Manchester United - Chelsea game the 1st december. I'm so excited about this trip.

I'm feeling a bit tired after Mikkel and Lines wedding yesterday.

Ugh - I've just looked at the page and the Blogger template I've chosen. It's not that funky and my urls have disappeared. Must do something about that next week.
I'm home again after the
holiday in Montana. It was a great trip. I've visited the States 3 times now and I think it's a great place. There's so much to see.
4 days at work since returning home and I'm already stressed out. Is this the way it's going to be the rest of my working days ? It's sort of exciting building a
website but usability, navigation, information architecture are terms which we should be talking more about. Also - I have to spend time in Windows and that's not very productive. I miss working on a Mac. Any ideas of how to persuade my boss to my buy me a
Tibook ?
I would like to do as Eigil and have my own webserver at home but at the moment it's just too much work.

I'm posting from Amsterdam airport. The internet service here costs 7.50 $ for an hour online.
My plane for Copenhagen leaves at 2.00 PM and I'm just waiting which is a bit boring. I'm looking forward to gettting home after sitting cramped in a small planeseat all night.
The holiday was great. Saw Grizzly bears in Yellowstone National Park, great nature in Glacier National Park, and lots of other stuff.

I'm posting from a community center in Missoula, Montana. The weather here is good and I've already gotten my first sunburn.
Rasmus is doing fine and looking forward to Marlene and Simon joins us here.
We have no idea of what we are going to do. My bet is we're going to Glacier National Park and stay there a couple of days.
It amazes me how things here are made for people with cars. You can't do anything without a car in the States. Yesterday we needed basic groceries and some Coke. It took us about 2 hours walking to and from the shops and we only managed to carry 2 paperbags of stuff each.

Copenhagen is absolutely fabulous when the sun is shining.
Does anybody know what has happened to
Geneva ?
It seems
someone is reading this blog. Thanks Tommy.
Every week I receive
Yahoo!'s Picks of the Week. Usually they send some great links. This week they pointed me to
GRIN. I especially like the
spacewalk section. Another interesting link is
The Tattoo Baby Doll Project.
Are you a forward thinker ?
This Friday I will be leaving for Montana to visit my good friend Rasmus. He is currently collecting data for his Phd. A few days later Simon and eventually Rasmus' girlfriend Marlene will join us. If you have any good ideas of what to see and do in Montana don't hesitate to e-mail me.
"Sol joins Arsenal". I didn't see that one coming.

VisualRoute Server - Graphical traceroute
I enjoy looking at other people's photos. The Internet is great for publishing stuff like that. I just found
Seaek which I found via
the : edge which I found via
Blogger. It just shows you how rich the Internet is.

I finally found Phil Schiller's
keynote address at the
Streaming Media West 2001.
I agree with Jason
Kottke that the Internet is amazing.
I'm regularly surprised over the amount of useful information I'm able to find. Besides that I've just rediscovered Internet radio. A few weeks ago a coworker reminded me of
Live365 and
SoundJam has been launched every day. I just found this
one via
MetaFilter. Get your headphones out !

Drømmen blev til virkelighedTibet skal sælge tøj i USABillet til storpolitisk landskampIt was not Amalie which played Tibet today but a team consisting of some Amalie players and players from other clubs. There are some pictures from the pitch at Amalies website.

Amalie is going to play the Tibetan national soccer team on Sunday and Wednesday. The matches are warm up for the real game next Saturday when they
clash with the Greenland national team.
You may wonder why a small club like Amalie is playing Tibet - the reason is Michael Nybrandt. He is the man who has worked for more than a year to see this game played. It was his idea to assemble a team of exciled Tibetans and it looks like he's finally been successfull. Michael also plays for Amalie. Well done Michael !
Greenland v Tibet
Peter - do you
really need a

It's been a long day at

Must get some sleep.

Installing & configuringThis is a
gadget wonder and just maybe I'll be using this little
app in the future.
I got
it. Will play with it tonight.
A coworker lent me
"Moving" and
"Recoloured" today. Good stuff.
Funny - cause I just
read {NY Times} about them the other day.
Oh my - look at the time - I'd better get some sleep.

Found
this on
scripting.com. It made me think about my own blogging. It's been a while.
What's happened since February ? Well - I've changed job. I used to be a
newspaper guy helping the journalists out with their
Macs. However, I was fortunate to get the vacant job as project manager in the
online department. That was 1st May. It's been mostly work since then.
This page needs a redesign and I should do something about my favourite links and the archiving. It will have to wait till I get back from
Montana. BTW if anyone has any tips on which national park to go to or other helpful information about Montana I would be grateful. Just
mail me.

As always things have gotten out of hand. I haven't had the energy to blog the past few weeks. I'm tied up in work, football and just trying to wind down when I get home. Rasmus has been staying with me while he's trying to find a new apartment.
Football is picking up. Everybody - well, not everybody but most seem to be in very good shape and we've won out first two training matches.
Tomorrow Peter and I will be watching the
Man. Utd. - Valencia game and hopefully drink some good redwine. BTW - check out
Jane Monheit. I wanted to go se
St. Germain Saturday but it was sold out. Bummer !
There's so much I want to do and I just don't have the time for it. I need to win a large amount of money and stop working...........and then I woke up from the dream........
going to bed - feeling exhausted and depressed.

Looks like
SAS will have wireless networking aboard their aircrafts soon. I've just bought an
AirPort basestation and two cards for testing at
work.

Looking forward to the weekend. I will be trying to install
YDL, setting up a firewall for a
friend and visiting my parents on sunday, and naturally, watching the
Man. Utd. - West Ham game.
I'm not getting much sleep these days. When I got home from football yesterday I finally watched
American History X and got to bed very late. Today (tonight) I just can't resist the temptation and going to install
Mac OS X.
Lots of things are going on. I'm not sure how things turn out but it's exciting. It looks like 2001
will be a different year.

Dreaming of moving abroad.
For you Rasmus - just som fun reading :
Ten bizarre football injuries.
BTW - who's sending me loads of sms messages ?
Tuesday, January 23, 2001
Well, it's been a while. I've been busy. There's been social events, upgrading my Mac, football and lots of other stuff going on. At
Amalie we start the outdoor training tomorrow. The weather looks ok, and my
Dad will be helping us out again. I'm looking forward to seeing my teammates again.

TV is just getting worse and worse. US tv network Fox will be showing
Temptation Island on Wednesday. For a couple of years we have had to endure
Robinson and the daily rant in the popular press about this ridiculous competition. Soon
TV Danmark will be airing the
Danish version of
Big Brother. I do not watch these programs but I know a fair amount of people who do. I can't stand the hype about the contestants and wondor why people watch this "reality tv".
Links to relevant articles will follow.

iTunes is actually a very spiffy application. Get it if you've got a Mac. It's free !

Damn! I'¨m still at
work waiting for the print people to get done.
Our DSL lines were not able to deliver the
streaming of Steve Jobs' keynote. I'll just have to try again tomorrow morning. Getting through to
Apple's servers is a bit slow right now. I have, however, been able to download
iTunes. The new
Titanium PowerBook is simply stunning.
Going to get
Mac OS 9.1.
I've just received a
Cube. It boots
Yellow Dog Linux so it looks like I'm going to loose more sleep. Sigh.
It's not very big. Pity I can't keep it.
Why is it I always find great stuff on the web in the middle of the night ? Some day it'll have a seriously impact on my health.
H.A.L strikes again.

I should just go to bed. I'll just boot the
Debian PPC cd and look at the installer first.
Bænken was a disturbing movie. The acting was strong, and especially
Jesper Christensen gave the viewer a frightning understanding of the consequences of alchoholism.
I should mention that it's been a very long time since I've written in English so if anything sounds funny/strange I'll be glad if you'll let me know.
Later today Apple will be releasing new software titles and probably some cool hardware. Just like the last few years I will not be attending the Macworld Expo but I'll be launching my QuickTime Player to watch. Hopefully the DSL lines at work can deliver the goods.
Jerry - where are you ??
Does anybody know of some good books/websites about building an Intranet ??

After a somewhat hectic day at
work I'm going to see
Bænken (2000) tonight with Rasmus. The apartment chores will just have to wait.

I love free
fonts. Got me this one :
BackgroundsIt's funny to think I've just been
there.
This is for Claus, Rasmus and Simon. {Found at
Queso}.
Sheringham ends Fulham's resolve. {BBC link} You just have to
sing. {104.8 K mp3 file}
I can't get through to Man. Utd.'s Real Audio page so I'll have to do with BBC's
Cup news.
I've got to go to
work.
TVDK1 is showing the FA Cup
Fulham - Man. Utd. game today. I'll just have to
listen to the commentary while I get things done.
Rasmus and Claus have invited me to join them, Jørgen, and Simon for their annual
skiing trip to Norway. We're going to live in a small cabin and after a hard day skiing, curl up beside each other in a our sleepingbags in front of the fire and drink coqnac.
I've tried alpine skiing once before and I wasn't very good. Hope the lads can give me some good tips.
Has anyone got any skiies I can borrow ?
I would love to have one of
these on my desk.
Should I get my own domain for this site ? I would like
www.angelo.dk but Jesper from
work got that a couple of years ago. Maybe if I'm nice to him he will sell it to me.
If you have any ideas don't hesitate to
mail me.
It was
Anna's birthday yesterday. Wonder how she's doing.

I wish I could
be there. Maybe next year.
BBC SPORT | MAN UTD Man Utd legend Sir Bobby Charlton says he has few regrets about their controversial withdrawal from last year's FA Cup.
Yesterday Christian and I went for a movie at
Vester Vov Vov to see
Three Seasons. Good movie. Made me think about my last trip to Vietnam. Maybe I should go back in November. Better
read about it. What do others
think about Vietnam ?
After the movie we got something to eat in Cafe Obelix. Nice place.
One of my New Year resolutions is to get organized - especially in the apartment. I've been at it all day. It's amazing how much stuff you somehow pick up and keep for some reason.
I just found out how to make a movie <:-)>.
The first attempt {352 K QuickTime file}.
