This was my first creation. In it are my friends Sierra and Gina.
ScreamMy second composition is made up of many photos of my friend James. You can see not only him taking a picture, but also see outlines of his face. I like this because it seems organic.
Dissection of a PhotographI am not sure whether the words fit the image here, but I made this while reading a Frank Lloyd Wright quote that inspired me. Write to me what you think.
Beauty ShadowI made this for a friend of mine who was going through real hard times. I thought that this would make things a little better. This is one of my favorite images, it's very placid...yet inspiring.
God SkyI made this when I liked Gina (my friend noted earlier). It's a nice play with the color red.
Shade of RedThe next two, I made for one of my best friend's going away presents (she is in France for a year). They are the same theme, so I am going to group them. The first is a compilation of some of the notes we passed in class (in fact, you can read some of them). The second is when we were taking pictures in town and she was trying to find chickens in the coop that were not there.
CryptoI was researching the industrialization of the late 1800's and the early 1900's, and I came upon some photos I found inspiring. Please write me with suggestions.
WorkThis is the cover for my album. I was trying to achieve a sense of mystery and yet some seductiveness.
Pig Album CoverI made this image for the soul purpose of trying to find a complement to the poem. Write to me and tell me if it works or doesn't. I seem to think it does, but am far from set on it.
TediousI read this thing where they compared the faces of models with a computer-generated image composed of 500 average-looking people. When they polled men on the streets, they thought the average of the average women was more beautiful than the supermodels. SO, I figured I might as well test the theory with ugly people! So here it is:
BeautyThis is my latest composition. It is one of my nicer ones, I believe, although I want to manipulate the white space (in this case, black space) around each one. That might help the general feel of it. It is not supposed to carry a theme, but rather a feeling. The word quintessence originates from the fifth element that the ancients believed existed besides Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. Think about that while looking at it (and understand this was somewhat an afterthought, although always an intent).
QuintessenceThis is a sculpture I made a few years ago, and just photographed this winter. I like it a lot. This picture doesn't really capture how the light plays off the industrial sheet metal...
