Richard's Rule of Life #6
Wabi-sabi is a beauty of things imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.
It is a beauty of things modest and humble.
It is a beauty of things unconventional.

Don't ignore the Wabi-sabi in life.

Richard's Rule of life #5 Don't mistake activity for progress - just becuase everyone is busy doesn't mean they are going anywhere

Richard's Rule of life #3 Don't say anything about somone that you wouldn't say to their face - even if said more politely.

Richard's Rule of life #4 This is a corollary to rule #1 – If you can simply avoid creating things that suck, you’ll probably be ok.

In short, don't do stupid things, don’t do things that suck.

Never assume upper managment knows what its doing - somtimes they dont. Its ok to point this out, just don't be an ass.

Richard's Rule of Life #3 You don't get anything unless you ask for it - the best lesson I ever received from my dad.

Richard's Rule of Life #2 - In a deal, if you don't know who is getting screwed, its you.

Richard Rule of Email #3 Check the "TO" and "CC" lines BEFORE you hit the send button. Sometimes, hitting "Reply All" can be stupid (see Richard's Rule of Life #1).

Richard's Rule of Email #2 Always assume that the exact person you don't want to read that email will end up reading it (your boss, your mom, your wife/husband, or God). Assuming that an email won't get forwarded or saved for later is stupid (see Richard's Rule of life #1).

Richard's Rule of Email #1 Sending an emil when you are pissed off, irritated, furstrated, crushed, humiliated, disinfrancised, marginlized, hopless, insane, drunk, high, or in a murderous rage is stupid. (see Richard's Rule of life #1).

Quitters never win, winners never quit - those who never quit and never win are idiots. Know when to quit - Unknown

There are no stupid questions, but there are a lot of inquisitive idiots.

Just because the person who is criticizing you is an idiot, doesn't mean they are wrong.

Richard's rule of life #1 - If you can simply avoid doing stupid stuff, you'll probably be ok.
