right.
I noticed a lot of you are still coming in from google searches like "boys+glasses+sucking+cock".
This is a noble quest, and I wish you luck. if you ever manage to find glasses-porn let me know, my own efforts have been fruitless.

I also know that a lot of you kind visitors leave dissappointed because there isn't enough cock, let alone sucking or even glasses on this page. Here I will attempt to correct that oversight.

A few months ago I was at Toys in Babeland on the lower east side, and I saw my first fleshlight. It was one of the only sex toys for boys they had in the shop but people just couldnt stop playing with it. I have to admit, I found myself fondling its soft lips a little longer than I should have. Its really soft and feels as much like soft human skin as anything that glows in the dark can be expected to. Its pretty great. The one I saw was $60, but now they appear to be on sale for only $40, and they come in a whole exciting range of scented colors like lavender, pink, mocha, chocolate and glow-lime.(I'm partial to the glow in the dark and lavender ones myself) Yeah, if I had a penis, I'd definatly want to try one of these things out.

um. um. something new to tide you over.
lemme think....
no, I'm still in school, I look pretty much the same, my hair hasn't grown significantly.
but now the cat doesn't just sleep near my bed, he sleeps on my legs.

Progress. Its not just for Hegeliens anymore!

Speaking of rockin' and rollin', BAREHANDSRECORDS' website has finally gone live. No one can say I'm not trying.

Well they can, but it'd be: a) rude and b) incorrect.

The funnest game:

Search ebay listings for "ugly doll".
Take bets on which doll is ugliest based on title text.
When it has been agreed upon which one is ugliest, collect winnings and assign image as wallpaper.

There. Now you try!

wank wank wank... popsensation that I am, I'm entitled to a little link masturbation

somewhere between all the porn searches on AOL my hit tracker turned up these guys who appear to be the Statler and Woldorff of the muppet/minstrel show that is the Blog World.

And the funny thing is, they share my view of my own sad abandoned site: Nice Devo meets Cats feel, but what's the point? But then again I feel that way about so many things these days. You know, Luby's... its like Mama's Family meets King of the hill, but ultimatly what's the point?

right. that concert again. blah blah blah April 14th blah blah Rice University blah blah blah noon to 8 PM blah blah

Mr. Quintron and Miss Pussycat
The Rondelles
Phillip Gelb
Lozenge
Death Ray Davies
Lozenge
25 Suaves
Dennis Gonzales Yells At Eels
Matty & Mossy

there.

I was going to set up all sorts of neat links for them, but I think I'll put that off 'till another time. I did however see that Sandra Barret at the Cambridge Other Music selected Quintron's Unmasked Lightyear Of Infinityman as one of the best albums of 2000.

And I know this because I just bought Bruce Haack's Electronic Lucifer II from them in a blaze of weekly update induced impulse spending. This I tell you, not because I enjoy telling people about my hip music whims, but rather because I never buy music. At all. And soon it will be my privilege to buy a lot of it, so I'm flexing my aquisatory fingers.

Once again, David is up to no good. First! he flatters me with a credit on his latest web-comic opus, then he completely redesigns not only his own site, but Megan's as well. And theres a rumor of something involving the fray....? Damn it David, you sure get around fast in that new beetle of yours.

My fellow Americans.

Thank you for being so tolerant of my respite from the bright lights of web fame.

But I just thought I'd let you know, I'm putting on a show and everyone's invited. Yes, April 14th will be the day of the pop sensation. Yes, pop stars from far and wide will converge on Houston. There will be rock. There will be roll.

The voice of Abi speaking through a Nate sock puppet:

I'm back. Rumors of my evaporation into meta-ether have been highly exaggerated.

That said, a big thank you to Nate for keeping the masses entertained and for organizing the search party.

Tuesday, January 30

For better and worse, I obsess on the little things. . . For your judgement, I submit three examples from this morning:
  1. An older man in an undistinctive american car alone his left-turn-only lane trying, but failing, to pay attention to when his left turn arrow turns green. So as I prematurely and halfharzardly cross the street towards him, as is my part of my morning commute, I point out to him what is now his yellow left turn arrow. The gentleman comes to, quickly looks at my suggested direction and needlessly screeches off a left turn.

  2. The cafeteria in the basement of my office building is a smelly, dirty and all together unappealing place. And I've always wondered why any company would put NOT INTENDED FOR INDIVIDUAL RESALE on any of their products. Is it supposed to lower the value of my conspiciously labelled grey market cherry coke and reduce the store's profits till they're forced to go back to paying the company mandated price? Well, it doesn't work because whoever drinks out of a plastic bottle doesn't have this burning desire to spend more money on a corporately sanctioned one. They should consider just labelling like goverment issued for the stigma attached to that.

  3. Okay, I lied there's no third example. But I've noticed that fat people eat a lot. Like a whole lot.
Okay, that's all my posts for January 2001. Have a great February kids! I love you each and every one of you! (Except you fatties.)
