I just thought I would point you all to this. It's very well-written and extremely interesting. So. Read. Think. Do you have the belly?

It's been a few days but I am not abandoning this place again just yet. Sorry. I spent too much time making things around here so green to do that. This weekend was parents weekend, so guess who came up to see me? My brother. Just kidding, that bastard is too lazy to come see me. My parents came up here. What a surprise. So, yeah, I went out to eat with them Friday night and then went to some music concert they had here which was... alright I guess. I wanted to go to sleep, but the chairs weren't very comfortable.
Saturday I went to brunch with my floor, but really it was just brunch with my suite because most other people slept in. I talked to my RA for a while, though, which was nice. I hadn't done that yet. After that, I... went out to eat with my parents. Then I got a haircut, which I needed worse than any other time in my life. Well, maybe not anytime in my life because things have gotten bad before, but definately worse than anytime in recent memory. Then I went shopping and bought *lots* of underwear (no laundry for like 3 weeks now!) and a new razor. And... I went out to eat again. And to the grocery store. God bless food.
So, that about wraps up my weekend? How was yours?

I am sick. Not so much sick as having sinus trouble, but either way it sucks something nasty. I always forget how crappy it is to be sick until I get sick. And once it is gone, I forget again. Hopefully this will be gone soon, so I can make some friends since I don't have any. I decided it's time to be outgoing... once I stop being sick, that is.

It's nice being able to play my WonderSwanColor games and actually be able to read what it says. Of course, it would be nice to have some clue about what it said, too.
The internet is really boring. Like, there isn't anything fun to do on here anymore. Someone email me fun things to do. And no, farm animal porno does not count as a fun thing to do. Sicko.
I'm going to avoid talking about all that is going on here in the States because, well... I am sure you have heard it all before. I'm scared. And disgusted by humanity. And disappointed by humanity. Yet at the same time, I am impressed by humanity.

I'm disgusted with the whole thing. As disgusted as I am, though, I am at least equally amazed. Whoever did this, managed to cripple the last remaining superpower (or so they say) with our own commercial transportation. Given the circumstances, there is not much that could have been done once the planes were hijacked. They effectively took 260 or so hostages. The only way to prevent the planes crashing into the WTC and Pentagon would have been to shoot them down, despite the fact that there were so many American citizens on board. I am not sure *what* would have happened had anyone found out about this as the planes were on their way to the WTC. It's absolutely horrifying that someone would be so intelligent and such a tactical genius as to figure something like this out, but choose to use these abilities for nothing short of pure evil. It scares me more than anything has ever scared me before.

I'm disappointed in the fact that people are going so far as wanting to bomb anyone they can plausibly -- and often not plausibly -- place the blame on. I am disappointed that, in at least some percentage of the population, there is likely to be a backlash against people of Middle Eastern descent. I am disappointed that on message boards across the internet, this backlash can be seen already.

I am impressed that people have come together to help each other so much. I am impressed at the turn out the Red Cross has seen; an appointment was necessary here to avoid an incredibly long wait. I am impressed at the passengers on Flight 93 and their bravery. For those of you that don't know, Flight 93 is the flight that crashed in Pennsylvania. According to reports, passengers on the flight decided to do something and attempted to take the plane back from the hijackers. While the plane still crashed, their actions most likely prevented many more deaths, as the plane never reached its destination, whatever it may have been.

I am still in shock.

How's that for not saying anything about it? Oh well. Sometimes I just need to get things off my chest.

Nintendo is hosting a rave. *Click the last sentence. It's a link. And it's not gross porn, either, I swear. If it was I would have had to have seen it too and... no thank you.*
