Random News For a project at school, I was looking at some numbers on mortality rates and causes of death. Here's some of the more interesting things I found. #1 killer of kids aged 15-24 in the US, all races, all genders, in 1998. Car accidents. In males, all ages, all races, in 1998 Suicided ranked #8, and Homicide #10 on the list of top ten killers. In females, neither of those ranked in the top ten. Males were also twice as likely to die in a car accident in 1998 then females. Overall leading two killers: Heart Disease and Neoplasms (Tumors). Some stuff to think about.
