Amber's Random Thoughts and Inspirations

I spent yesterday afternoon with Brent in PT. He showed me some of the places where he and his buddies hang out. It was fun... except for now I think I am even more lost there than I was before.

*sigh* I have the whole weekend off, and no Brent to spend it with... I hope he is having fun at work... heheheh...

I'm really tired... skipping class is very tempting right now... hmmmm

I have to work late tonight. I don't want to work. I'm sick of working... Next week is my last week :)

Uh-oh... here comes Brent... now I'm in trouble... Hmph! He just lectured me for skipping my class. Heheheh.... he's so cute.

As usual, I didn't have any free time to blog over the weekend.... Let me recap the highpoints and exciting events of my weekend....

FRIDAY: Okay, I know I blogged on Friday, but I left out a couple of important details. I was shocked when I realized that I forget to mention my encounter with Calamari. I stopped at Walmart, and Calamari was in there. He has a new look now... lemon-yellow hair. He informed me that he just recently moved into a house in PA with two of his scary friends. I know that he is really living in the Marine Life center by the water front. Why else would they have that big Calamari statue and his picture all over hats and tee-shirts advertising the place??

SATURDAY: I had to wake up earlier than usual to go to work. I was sooo tired, because I spent the night before having World War 2000 with my Mom. Laura was hosting a BBQ at her house to celebrate Paul's transfer, and I decided that it was a matter of life or death that I go. I wasn't really looking forward to it... I was expecting it to be really lame, because every one is older than I am (any one for a nice game of bingo??).... plus, the thought of going to Laura's house was slightly intimidating. The party ended up being way more fun than I anticipated... I didn't get home until almost one o'clock in the morning. Oh, and I decided that Laura isn't as scary as I thought she was.

SUNDAY: *alarm clock goes off* "Doh! I wish I hadn't stayed out so late Saturday night!!" I managed to drag myself out of bed to get ready for work, but my brain wasn't working very well for most of the day. I consumed every ounce of caffeine that I could get my hands on, but it really didn't help.... it just made me feel fidgety. Sunday was an odd day, I managed to socialize in the presence of Lisa, and I didn't get pelted with balls of fire or ice. Maybe she was tired from staying out too late also. I had to flatten myself out to fit into my car after work, as SOME ONE thought it would be very funny to park as close to my car as possible.

MONDAY: I went to PA again. I had another appointment, and I had to go to the college, because they had my name wrong on the papers they sent me. DUH? Is it that hard to keep track of some one's last name? I went to Staples also. Staples is a very amusing store. Stinky Kevin was working, and he helped me pick out a computer desk.

Okay, I'm finally caught up to today. I don't have to work today! YEAH! I was planning on sleeping in, but as usual, that didn't happen. First my Mom came in to visit me, then the phone rang, so I finally gave up and got out of bed. I decided to eat one of those fat Costco muffins... actually, I barely ate half of it. I discovered that if you actually crunch the poppy seeds in your mouth, they taste really disgusting. Now I am drinking Oolong Tea and writing. I am starting to get really anxious about school. I have been working and doing my own thing since I graduated. This is going to be strange...

I hate this computer. I hope it explodes into tiny little pieces of nothingness.

Moving on... I just talked to Julie. Sounds like her day has been almost as exciting as mine.

I have decided that I am looking forward to going to college, except for one problem... $$MONEY$$... I am going to have to keep track of my money. I have spoiled myself waaaay too much. Other than that, I am looking forward to school. It will be so nice to be able to see my friends on a regular basis. It's been a long time, and I'm looking forward to having a life again.

I've decided that since Julie snagged her boyfriend at college, I will make it part of my mission to hook one also. I'm sure there must be some lovely available guys around there... right??? Meanwhile, I am still trying to decide if my cute coworker is a good option or not... yeah, I think so... enter plan A...

I have decided not to drop kick the computer, even though I would like to very much. I don't think this obnoxious computer is worth smashing my foot over. Of course, dropping it off a cliff is a option... except for one problem- I don't know where there are any cliffs around my house. I will have to think of something else.

I have been spending the morning fighting with this computer AGAIN. I swear, this is the only computer that doesn't do what I want it to do. Who would have thought that a machine could be so annoying? I fixed one problem, and now there is another one... only this one, I don't know how to fix. I guess I will just have to keep investigating the files... or drop kick the computer. Hmmmm... that sounds like fun...

DOH! What's going on here???

Grrrr... this computer is being annoying again. I guess it just has a mind of its own. I don't like it!

I failed my quest to find pineapple. I found peaches and pears and mandarin oranges instead. I decided to substitute the oranges for the pineapple. I guess it worked, because I don't want pineapple anymore....

I've been spending my day off washing my laundry. I haven't been inspired to do anything interesting. I went to visit Chandler, but he is feeling anti-social right now. I guess if I were trying to sleep and some one was pestering me, I would be grumpy too.

What an exciting day I am having. I was nominated to clean the house, since it is my day off. I could understand having to help out if I was actually behind any of the clutter. Oh well... I've never understood my parents logic before, so why would I understand it now? Come to think of it, I don't think I really want to understand them.

Wow! I just realized that the schedule that is posted on Thursday will be my last full time schedule before school starts. I'm looking forward to going back to school, which makes me feel sort of strange. I've NEVER looked forward to going to school.

I feel like eating pineapple. I will go in search of pineapple, then I will go visit Chandler.

I have returned from my journey to the Marina. Lunch was fun, but I ate too much. I am feeling like an elephant again... Stinky Kevin did show up, but he wasn't stinky. I guess that's good. It would suck to have stinky friends. Oh joy! It's time to get ready for work! I can't contain my excitement!! I can see the little Q-shaped bubbles of happiness floating all around me...

I spent my entire weekend at QFC. Sometimes I feel like I might as well just live there. It was NOT a good weekend. The person ahead of me on 101 felt that it was too dangerous to actually drive the speed limit. They apparently decided that 45 mph was much better speed to travel at. I will have to remember to contact the department of transportation and tell them that they need to lower the speed limit from 55.

I got in trouble for talking to the cute checker when I should have been doing something constructive, like scraping ice off the freezer floor. I will be standing there talking, and I hear Lisa's keys as she gets closer to the front of the store. I frantically search for a way to look busy, but I can't think clearly or move. Then she catches me, and I get in trouble and have to go help in the back. How evil...

Julie just called... we are going to lunch at the John Wayne Marina. Rumor has it that Stinky Kevin might be there...

Today is Friday!!!!! Not that I have the weekend off or anything cool like that... Friday is just *the* day to look forward to for some reason. Maybe because it has been pushed into our brains since we were little...

I got my back adjusted today. That was the highlight of my morning. My back cracked about four hundred times. I feel like a human rice crispy treat. *snap*crackle*pop* How horrible! I thought I wasn't supposed to have problems like that until I got old. I guess I can look forward to being one of those little old ladies you see at the grocery store driving the little electric carts... "Get out of my way, you hoodlum! You're blocking the Gas-X display with your skateboard! Didn't your Momma ever teach you any manners??" Doh! It's time to get dressed for work already... *whine* I know that SOME ONE isn't going to be there today. Will I be able to make it through my shift? Tune in next time to find out...

Wow, it's 2:15 already? That means I only have an hour left before I have to journey to Port Townsend to slave away at work. I am SO looking forward to it, as there is nowhere I would rather be than in my checkstand all evening.... okay, I guess that depends on WHO I get to spend the evening working with. If I have to be at work, I might as well have good company... not to mention verrry cute company, heheheh....

I wonder if a couple of nameless guys who were cruisin' Sequim last night have any clue who the two perfectly sane girls that were following them around were... Not that I know anything about the incident... Who would have thought that a disgusting bagel sandwich and some greasy McDonalds french fries could be so entertaining? *SQUISH* heheheh...

Well, I am at Julie's house and she is entertaining me with all of her exciting computer antics...

She has been forcing me to eat tons of food. I am starting to feel like a hippo, or maybe an elephant.... Oh well, at least elephants are cute. Not that I want to be one...

Dave is online. How entertaining. I am going in search of something exciting to do now, even if Dave is cute.

Okay, I've taken long enough to check out my own page... sorry Julie! Well, I think it looks very cool... Sadly, I don't think I know what I'm doing. I've decided to mess around with this and see what I can do.
