I love #2 ("see you"). anyways, I am tired as all hell, insomia drove me to 4 hours of sleep. I don't understand how if I fell asleep at 4 AM that I would wake up at 8 when I usually wake at 10. I don't think I even had an REM cycle. crapola. at least I don't have to go to school. I did one current event so far "the battle over chandra", and am now reading some international feature about a coverup of a serb massacre in Kosovo. OR something like that. I went over to Mara's house yesterday. All her cousins were there. Her cousin Colleen is SO nice. She did my makeup so pretty and made my eyes pop out. she used a lot of makeup but somehow made it look natch. maras other cousin, jason, colleen's brother I think is so cute. Nice southern accent (from Alabama). eh, he has a gf though. what's weird is that I've never notice but half my family has southern accents, and I think I even have a slight one. man, when you grow up with something you never really notice it. I never thought my dad had a southern accent but I'll have to ask jennifer cause she's known us the longest. posted by kristin 10:18 AM sunday, july 29 anyways, more on the show. IT was so awesome, and I am so glad I finally got to see NFG (although it would have been preferable to see a small show...maybe they will do more soon.) and Blink was great. They also had this opening band, body jar who sounded english...the accents were heading in that direction anyways. they were really good and catchy as well. and then I spent $20 on a NFG shirt, LOL I am a sucker. It's bright red and says NFG-coral springs easycore on the front and a big concert picture with the caption "Being wrong never felt so right". I saw America's Sweethearts two days ago I think and it was pretty funny, a lot more gross-out humor than I thought there would be. but a little too long I thought. I also have realised over the past couple of days that I like mara's freinds better than mara. (this is sad, mara is supposed to be my best friend) ugh, I dunno but she has become the epitome of annoying lately....urgh. and the real world: new orleans is rerunning on weekdays and its really really good. a lot better than I thought it was when it aired originally. but nothing tops hawaii. I hope they re-run those again. now I have to catch up on the stupid summer current events I have to keep for government (a ridiculous and pointless assigment...stupid fuckers.) and, Oh, I have $17 and I am not sure if I should order the new Saves the Day CD or just save it for shopping money. hmmm. posted by kristin 10:54 AM friday, july 27 ish, it has been quite a while since I wrote (typed?) in here. I really am ditzy about doing theses blog posts....well, I guess I need some sort of filler for the past month or so. I went to a Blink 182/New Found Glory Show. It was so awesome. ESP. New Found Glory! They rule so much....I was the only one in my group that knew their songs, I was singing along at full steam. Haha, I sang to MEGAN with my hand on my heart, sappy looks and all. NFG and Blink had a ton of energy. Blink was more fun than I expected, really funny. I watched Real world Miami for an hour and a half, reliving the episodes. I saw all of the episodes in reruns last summer or the summer before and it was just so great, being a couch patato. now I have the urge to have a video diary but have no clue as to how to operate the video camera. I've been feeling naseous and spinny all day, I wonder what is going on. mara sent me a long confusing email and I think she is getting herself into a bad situation. I tried to reply as best as I could but the info she gave me was very vague. REAL world X premiers tomorrow. I've decided to tape all the episodes. It will be awesome, dude. im still all confused over my relationship with joey that started and ended so abruptly. I guess I have never explained this. I met joey on the first day of school and we were friends through the year. I always had thought he was cute and actually the feeling was mutual, but I was never super into him and we were just friends. but around april I started developing this huge crush on him. we started flirting heavier and heavier, but it was all confusing and mixed up because marshall (mutual friend) kept misinterpreting and changing information because, he liked me. Finnally, though at the ram jam in may, joey kissed me. since then, we had one of those stupid friends with benefits relationships. He took me to the fairfax fair and we messed around a bit, but a couple days later, we (marshall me and joey) all got in trouble and joey covered his ass and got off scot free whereas I was left to pick up the peices. Am trying hard to be strong, independent woman, screw you asshole but its hard because it ended with a snap of the fingers and hes so attractive. I've been nice to him and had a couple of conversations about it but we are clear that its over. and, oy I am just so screwed up....sorry if I am giving just an outline here but I dont feel ready to post juicy details on the internet just yet, you know? We're flying to my cousin's wedding in Kansas City so, I brought my mini-messenger bag and case logic cd compartment thing as carryon. in the carryons- *bridget jones : the edge of reason (the paperback is finally at target, I'm so excited. I really liked the first one and the movie) * a time to kill for my summer assignment * deck of cards * red lip balm, pink eyeshadow, maybelline great lash mascara (very black) *$13 *discman, and new headphones, the kind that go in your ear *2 new cds I bought at target: weezer [green], weezer\ this warped are we now? or something like that that features warped tour artists over the years...it was some target exclusive, $6.99 *the cd case, I put in no doubt, green day, foo fighters, nirvana, new found glory, more weezer, smashing pumpkins, and some mix cds ahh, thats it. maximum plane entertainment. seriously, the plane is the part I'm looking forward to the most.
