Only 29 days until I take the plunge with my sweetheart. I can't say how excited I am only because there are no words to describe it. We're eligible to get our marriage license which we'll apply for tomorrow! Man, this is so cool. :-) All of the "big stuff" is taken care of so now we just have all of these detail types of things to do. It can get kind of frustrating but I'm sure it's going to be well worth it. hehe Julie pointed out that we hadn't been reading any "marriage books" lately so I finally started Intended For Pleasure by Dr. Ed Wheat and it's awesome! The whole first 2 or 3 chapters really impacted me because it was basically a counseling session before getting into the "basics" of sex and whatnot. Not sure what all could be in the next 170 pages!! hehehe One thing I was really convinced of (again) is that God calls me to be a studier of His word. I want to be that, too. Study the Word and study my Wife. Two musts. :-)

Well, never try to adjust the size of your screen after you've typed for 10 minutes and poured your heart out. Blogger.com will erase it and turn your satisfied feeling into anger right quick like. Oh, well...

39 days until Julie and I get married. Rock on.

I wonder if God ever looks at me and says, "STOP THINKING SO MUCH." Unfortunately, if He does, I probably don't hear Him because I'm talking to myself too much.

Why don't I start the day with FIF more often? Man, some kick butt music and lyrical content to worship the Lord with! Good stuff...

I'm fairly sure that we can do most of the things we think we can't. It just takes more work and less selfishness than we'd like.

You know when you go to a buffet and you can't decide what to eat? Everything looks good and you want it all. Or when you're hungry and you go grocery shopping. You want to buy EVERYTHING you see! Because you're hungry. I'm hungry. I'm hungry for the Word. I read Ishy's post of "peace verses" and it was just like that. I wanted it all!! But I know I need to sit down, eat slowly, and digest it. I'm just so hungry...and can't wait to be filled.

It's been a week. A good week. A bad week. Another week. I made the decision to stay at this job after things got worked out. It's pretty sweet how things worked out, too. I'm in a kind of humdrum place right now. Things get good and bad pretty quickly for me. I'm having trouble staying positive and moving on with my life. Not sure why. I think it's just my mindset. I really need to get into the Word.

Quite the change a few days can bring. I'm caught between too hard decisions. Not a place I enjoy. We'll see how it goes, I guess.

It's one of those days where everything seems to be going right. Even the things that are going wrong don't seem that bad today. I can see the light...

I want to write a book. I think if it came down to it, I'd want to be an author.

I have absolutely no motivation to work today. Nothing seems to go right when I try and I'm getting dumped upon as far as "projects." My boss is gone, too, which only aids my laziness. I really should do some stuff around here. It just doesn't seem worth it most of the time. Hopefully my interview at Holiday Inn will go well. I really need to get out of this place. It's simply too stressful. Too stressful for anyone, that is! I feel for the person who takes this job permanently.

I wish I could figure out how to get this to publish on my new site.

Boy, do I feel stupid. I was talking to this lady about the Xerox machine (see other post on things that "set me off") and being all short about it, right? So, I go to check on something in the other room and find out she's THE Xerox Lady, coming to fix the machine. Why didn't she just tell me that? Again I say, gosh...

Why can't I ever spell "ridiculous" correctly?? It's easily my most misspelled word. Is that even the right way to spell "misspelled??" Gosh...

There are just certain things that set me off. One of them is being blamed for problems I did not create and being expected to fix them. I didn't break the copy machine and don't know how to fix it, so now I'm the bad guy? To that I say: Poop on your face.

I'm a backpack man. The new backpack I got last night will revolutionize the way I live my life. I garuantee it. It feels so...right. My morning has been pure bliss because of my new green, Eastpack backpack. Thank you, backpack. I'll never leave you.

The most helpful item in my list of belongings today is my umbrella. The most unhelpful place for that umbrella to be is in my car. Oh, the rain. Oh, the irony. Rainy day, umbrella in the car (which is a 20 minute walk away)...a little TOO ironic. Dontcha think?

My attention has been drawn to the fact that I don't post on here much. Well, I think I'll change that.
