I made it past my first hundred recs. It takes a surprising amount of time to write less than a hundred words. Reading and re-reading the piece, deciding whether I'd print it out for a desert island, and then trying to sum it all up without giving away the plot. Blegh. Then there's checking links still work, tracking down emails and dates - more work.
I'm already planning Version 2.0 once I get version 0.5 of Threads done. I'd like to consolidate the tables, clean the code up into lots of generalized chunks, and add my new features. Reader comments, more editing tools, better display.
But first I have emails to over fifty writers to say that I've linked to them, do they mind? Feedback's always a bit nerve-wracking, what with the hero worship and the realization that you really want to say, Um, your sex scenes are hot. Without sounding too dweeby. I need to work on my Jonathon persona.
