I have my chinese visa now, for 90 days, entering anytime before November the sixth, I'm not sure when I will be there but will keep you updated. I have to leave Shanghai Pudong on the 10th of Novemebr for my flight to Sydney.

I am so excited about going, I will be leaving London today for a week in the countryside and then coming back to do some banking and then travel around europe for a month, then it's of to Beijing! Still haven't worked out how I want to get there but the flights are cheap. I may even catch the train back.

London's starting to get darker and colder, I'm missing Joseph heaps and want to get back before christmas

I feel a little let down by London, but at least it's easier for me to let go, I'm organising my return journey and trying to get things sorted out while I've still got some savings left.

Still hanging on a payout from ZIVO, I'm hoping it will be there when I get back, I'm also hanging around while my rent is payed up and I have a few incoming cheques. One last week of work, next week, and two weeks to grab a pack and a tea chest to get my gear back in.

I am going to travel around europe on the trains, from Paris to Morroco and then east to Turkey before finding someway to get back to China. Where I'll be meeting Spiral in Beijing and then hiking through Yunnan in the southwest, on the border of Tibet.

I have a flight from Shanghai to Brisbane on the 10th of November which I hope to catch, otherwise I'll be stuck in China for a little while. While I'm there I'll be getting around and trying to line up some work for the new year, and hopefully getting back there in February.

Shanghai is lovely in November, I've shot so many photo's while I've been out and about, I'll probably have a chat to someone about getting my portfolio together, I'll be looking for a more creative ways to earn an income if I decide to stay in Brisbane when I get back. I'm so looking forward to spending time with Joseph, having breaky on a saturday morning and doing all that sort of stuff again. There are hardly any decent cafe's in London believe it or not.

I was considering Melbourne as well, my father will be there, and Josh is starting an Osteopathy course, my Grandfather turns 80 this month as well. My uncle Nic will be in Shanghai about the time I am there, so we should have some fun together.

I seriously want to get my teeth in to some solid work, I feel as though I've just been flitting around, I want a some solid goals and something to work towards, rather than the odds and bobs I've had.

I've having heaps of freaky dreams, I'm looking forward to being alone again, and seeing the world without needing a reason. See you real soon, I bet it'll be like you never even missed me.

Back to work for a day this week, it's hot and stinky and I don't really want to be here, specially with the 'junior' giving me tips and things to do. Would much rather be working on my tan for Ibiza or helping N in the garden.
I'm moving from the Walrus address in Dalston, to N's place in Harlseden, at least until after Ibiza, I really want it to work out.

Thinking of how I'll stay out of trouble over the next couple of weeks without work and days to myself, even thinking about doing some landscape gardening. I'll definitely be doing more yoga and weights, I'm stronger again in the upper body, and losing weight around the hips and waist.

Missed Joseph heaps yesterday.

Just got a call from Brian, Betty wasn't too happy about preparing lunch for me and then not turning up, I guess I'll be eating in the kitchen for quite some time now. I'm also not very happy about work, they've got a junior in who want's to change all the hard work I've done and wants me to make the changes, grrrr. I hate to be a work snob, but being a photshop jockey doesn't give you the best understanding of the web, grrrr again, grrrr.

Packing up time already, and the suns out again, ripper.

Done it again second time running, and I feel worse for it, probably the "not worthy" complex and self defeating behaviour that I've harboured since childhood. I am getting better at picking up on my own shortcomings but I'm less harmful to myself about them now.

So over long weekend I missed training with Brian, managed to catch up with Simon and spent most of it with Nx, what a find, and not just because I know you're reading this.

All sorts of stuff happened this last week, some of it unpleasant, but much of it worthwhile and enjoyable. Bad stuff first; falling out with someone I thought was a friend but obviously doesn't have the maturity to behave appropriately in public. Being berated in a city bar we've both frequented, unexpectedly, wasn't the best way to start back in London, after the magic of Amsterdam. Another friend that I've upset is now trying on juvenile behaviour in cohorts with the immature one, thanks guys.

Speaking to Joseph on Friday night was probably the best consolation, learning about the ball that crushes cars, Spending the weekend with a new friend , sleeping well, breakfast, Tim's birthday BBQ on Sunday and no hangers on, or little gobblers tagging along.

Sorry Brian for missing out on this weeks training session I could sense the real disappointment in your voice, I really haven't in my own bed since last wednesday so I need to get some big sleep and do my laundry.

All sorts of other stuff to get done, and people to catch up with including the Ibiza Crue, looking forward to being with you and chillin' not illin'!

Is it time for more to do lists?

Just putting the finishing touches on the HTML version of inspiring science which should be live within 2-3 weeks, after the Flash version is complete.

MPI, just thinking of you, my brother rang from melbourne last week, he is staying with my father, I'm loving London, just spent the weekend in Amsterdam, discovered a lot about myself, and spooked a few people as well.

I went with work, we met up on the first night, I knew the hotel they were in so just waited in the lobby. They gave me their phone numbers so I could get in touch with them for dinner the following night.

I took photos all day and only went back to the hotel for more film, when I got there was a message saying we are going out for dinner don't know where would like you to join us, give us a call on the mobile. I rang the mobile but the answering service was on so I just left a note saying I want to eat with you, need to do some more photos, please leave me the name of the place you will be eating and I will just meet you there.

I came back after photographing a glorious sunset (more on that when I scan the images), had a shower and took my time getting ready hoping they would call in the meantime, when they didn't I thought I'd just go and have dinner by myself somewhere quiet.

I've never been to Amsterdam before, I haven't been out with these people before, and I didn't really know where I was going so I just followed my nose, after about half an hour of walking in a direction that I hadn't ever been in before I stopped at this restaurant, the moon was shining on the doorstep and the boats on the canal were slipping by quietly.

I walked downstairs but it was immediately obvious the kitchen had closed, I asked for a table for one any way, but before the maitre d could offer a response I heard a voice call out, "out of all the restaurants in Amsterdam look who should walk into this one!".

All of my workmates at one table. All wanting to know how I found them.

I had positively intuited where they were going to be. I think they were also more spooked about it than I was.
