Weather looks like it's going to hold. The World Trade Center terrorism act overshadows everythign else in the news, but it was really sad to see all these Florida homes flooded/destroyed. I have to ask Paul if we should give some more to Red Cross. We gave to the New York branch but maybe we out to give again for the Florida branch?
Meanwhile... it's that time of year when sneakers go on sale and I really, really need new 878's! I ordered 12 pairs of Thorlo socks for us.

Called the treadmill movers to stay put and deliver on Tuesday. Gabrille hit Florida this afternoon. I'm getting calls form family to see if we're fine. has some tree branches fall on my roof and trampoline,. but nothing major and Paul and I are ok other than this flu thing.
Now trying to touch base with my relatives in other parts of Florida to see how they fared.

I feel like the White Rabbit lately. Always rushing to one thing or another and screaming in my head about not being late. Not time! No time! So the quick run down:
I need a new pair of shoes. I've worn these out. Already!
I miss sportbrain, because it would track all my miles for me withotumy having to do anything but wear it. I'm back to losing the bits of paper I write the totals off the pedometer from. Sigh.
I got a fundraising report and I'm up to just a tad under $500. If all goes well, by the end of the month I ought to be really close to a grand. Woo!
The treadmill people called and said they'd deliver this week after apologizing for the delays.

One step closer.... the UPS guy came today and brought me a tall skinny box that turned out to be a rolled up treadmill mat. I put it down on the living room floor where I want the treadmill to go when the moving people arrive.

Anxious about treadmill. It got from point A to point B. So it's now in Orlando instead of being off somewhere in Pennsylvania.
It has to make it from B to C now. From the receiving freight office to the moving/install people. This will happen later today.
THEN it can come from C to D -- from the moving people to my house!
I was warned because of Labor Day I may have to wait a bit more to hear from them. So what... Tuesday?

Gadnabbit! Trying to update www.sirgalahad.org and check outdated links and I can't get in! What did Paul do? Change the passwords on me? When he wakes up and is fully functionaly I have to ask him why I'm locked out. :P

Ergh - when's the last time I wrote in this thing?!
Okay, on the 20th. Well, on the 24th (last night) Joe and I did one mile of all walking.
Today, on the 25th, we did two miles, and I ran approximately one-half mile of that two miles. Tired! But feeling good!
