(not)INSCRUTABLERANTINGS

(18sept01)

*happy birthday mom!*

there's a new rant. actually, there's two if you've been relying on this space to update you. that's probably a bad idea. i don't think i'm going to do that at all anymore. i'm lazy. what i really want to accomplish would require a redesign, but that's about the last thing on my list these days. besides, i still gotta get my "business" site up. that's so funny. i only figured out how to spell business about 2 years ago. what a joke. yeah. so i guess if you wanna read those, just look to see if there's a new one outta overshare. ok.

stick a /band on the end of this and find a few pix of Tigerbeat. or whatever the hell we're called this week.

see, i'm so lazy i won't even do the link for you.
no, wait. it's a test. yeah. a test.

All things motorcycle! Here you'll find a few stories including catastrophes from last year's racing season, and numerous photos. But, nothing much new. I got new pegs fabricated for my hawk! Okay, that's it.

Stories and other random writings, photos, goofy miscellania. Now, inscrutablerantings too.

nowplaying: big band. ella fitzgerald. some cowboy junkies cd i found in my house without a case (no idea how it got there). heard boards of canada in a cafe and really liked it a lot - reminded me of autechre - but i haven't picked it up yet. i lost the replacements tape in high school. i finally got the replacement. ha. i'm funny.

nowreadingIRL: just finished darker saints, by brian hodge. it was great. fucked up, but great. something i really appreciated was that he writes with a lot of detail and description, but everything is used. everything is important. you find yourself chapters later saying, "oh! that's why!"

nowwatching: tv news. more tv news. and still more, until my head is a swarm of hornets. no more tv network news. even if i do have some weird inexplicable crush on peter jennings. NO.
did finally watch a movie last nite, girl. i liked it a lot. god, high school sucked. it would make a good companion film to ghost world, even tho it's a lot lighter. the character cries in one scene, and i cried; not because it was so moving but because i'd had that very same cry. hey, maybe you could throw in virgin suicides too for a triple-whammy of teenage angst. can't get enough teenage angst.
