Peace. Compassion. Turn it around. Think before you act. Respect your fellow person, regardless of their race or religion. Now is time for unity; fingering entire races or religions will only perpetuate the pain. Take the high road of compassion and understanding. Now is the time.

Shun the mainstream press; they are only telling a fraction of the story. Check out commondreams.org, salon.com, actforchange.com, guardian.uk. There you will find the back side of this tragedy and how the USA is far from innocent. We contributed to this horror through years of pigheaded foreign policy and civil rights abuses. The jerks who did this acted in response to our actions. It is not exusable, but it must be understood or it will happen again and again.

/end rant.

Transperformance was a blast. I'm going to steal a little bandwidth from our good buddies The Aloha Steamtrain and show you a photo or two. Here we are as The Byrds (where's Stu? I dunno!). And here is a fans cute rendition of his favorites of the evening. Cute huh?

So, we are busy learning new songs and boning up for quizzes. Big quizzes.

What's news? Well something is up. I can't say what. But in a few weeks you might notice something interesting going on.

SLIGHTLY OLDER NEWS: "Breakfast at Brelreck's" is out. Come and git it. It features 7 new songs with an exclusive short story by from the twisted labyrinths of famed author Jonathan Lethem's mind. Look for strange, dreamlike Brooklyn color, mixed with the 'whimsical industrial' images of Luke Jaeger, and our sugary pop layered on top. A truly strange and highly attractive combo.

"Homesick" is now available again, after being out of print for a while. We are selling it through MP3.com, and when you buy it ($8 - stoopid cheap) you get a little multimedia thingy in it. Buy it.

Also, for crazy archivist-types: 3 old old old Maggies albums (1994-96) are available in CD format here.
