Hobbes ran as fast as she could down the streets of Hogsmeade, trying very hard to keep all of her loose papers and books under her arm and her hat on her head at the same time. She didn't bother to avoid the rain puddles, since she liked the splash they made when she hit them. She gave herself a point for each good splash, and 3 points if the water hit someone else. So far, she had 27 points. One more good one and she'd break her record!
She slammed into a puddle at full force, enjoying the sight of the water going everywhere. It wasn't until after the water settled that she heard a familiar angry voice.
Hobbes turned around to face her younger friend. "Kirin! I didn't see you standing there.."
Kirin glared, the bottom of her school robe dripping wet. She had a scary face, Hobbes decided. Hobbes laid her books on a dry spot of ground and grabbed the bottom of Kirin's school robe, trying to get some of the water off. "It's just water, Kirin! It's ok! I didn't see you honest!"
"Yeah, right." Kirin said, crossing her arms.
