Hippy sweetness!
I've been checking out Dome Home Websites today. I'm pretty impressed by them. The most expensive home I saw (basic kit) was around 60 Grand, the least expensive basic dome house I found today was around 8 Grand. That's pretty freakin' cheap compared to the average cost of a home in San Diego -$450,000. I think I'd rather lift plywood, and secure a retirement than sink half-a-million dollars into a house. Besides, I'm a burner at heart and domes strike a chord within my goofball soul.

The word, "magnitude" has been used quite a bit lately.
I'm so confused. There are so many questions left unanswered -so many questions incapable of being answered.
Breathe.
Wait.
Breathe.

You know me, kiddies -try to keep the language in check. No bad mojo sent out across the wires -none sent back. But, would someone please take
this bitch's typewriter from her and smash her hands with it? Good lord!

Lately I've seen the vibrations get nasty. People are upset and are flying off the handle. Remember that we only see and hear what the media allows us. Please hold off on judgement; the facts aren't all in. This poem has helped me quite a bit.
If
If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream--and not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

The cops had left by the time I made it back home last night. I fell asleep pretty quickly, but awoke later that night to slamming doors. My neighbor must have come home to see his apartment had been ransacked by the cops. More door slamming was quickly followed by a car departing from the street.
I'm not too keen on my apartment anymore.

I was just stirred from my evening relaxation session by loud banging and some quick shouts. I peered through my peep-hole, thinking I would catch my neighbors in a row, but instead saw bullet-proof vests emblazoned with, "Parole" and "Police" rummaging through their apartment. I stepped to my front window -facing the street- and saw a couple of dark vans and still more bullet-proof men with large sub-machine guns. On my way out I bumped into a tall, bald man with a neck chain suspending his badge, and got a close-up look at one of those door-knocking-down steel-barrelled rams.
It's times like these I wish I didn't have pink hair.
(On a lighter note: for the first time in years there's nothing illegal in my place. I was actually 100% calm as I threaded my way through the blue gauntlet lining my front walkway. Yay!)

The word, "morph" -in all its forms- has no business stumbling drunkenly out of any adult maw, let alone a professional reporter.

I just wasted my lunch hour. I'm now lighter. I've been running up and down the street and doing jumping-jacks to see if I can get a cheap buzz. I have: seven stickers proclaiming my greatness, a new t-shirt, a hole in my finger and one in my forearm. Guess what I've been
doing.

The atmosphere is crystalline still
Soft, close chirps blare
Raucous, harsh crashes are distant
And the new day serenity holds the compressed air of morning tightly
Not wishing to let go of the stillness of night
But awaking inevitably to the glowing gray fog of daylight
