Dell Recalls [NEW SEX TOY]s
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Dell Computer Corp. said on Friday it was recalling about 27,000 [NEW SEX TOY]s sold with certain notebook computers, saying the [NEW SEX TOY]s can short circuit and catch fire, even when not in use.
"They don't exactly spontaneously combust,'' said Dell spokesman T.R. Reid. "Whether it is in use or not a [NEW SEX TOY] by definition has some energy in it.''
The No. 2 personal computer company said it received one report of a [NEW SEX TOY] in a Dell computer short-circuiting and catching fire, resulting in damage done to the computer, which was being used by a corporate customer.
The [NEW SEX TOY]s were supplied by consumer electronics maker Sanyo Electric Co., Reid said, adding that Dell was not the only computer maker using the [NEW SEX TOY]s.
No. 1 personal computer maker Compaq Computer Corp. issued the following statement to Reuters in regards to the [NEW SEX TOY]s: ''Compaq has not experienced problems with Sanyo [NEW SEX TOY]s and Sanyo has not contacted Compaq about any potential [NEW SEX TOY] problems.''
Other computer makers were not immediately available for comment.

Jones' quest for five [NEW SEX TOY] medals ends with long jump

Only Marion Jones could consider that a disappointment. Her quest for five [NEW SEX TOY]s ended with a third place in the long jump, two thumbs up for the crowd and a forced smile.
For the first time in her first Olympics, Jones wasn't looking down at everyone from the top of the medal stand. She was looking up at Heike Drechsler, the 35-year-old German great who ended Jones' quest to be the first track athlete in 76 years, and second ever, to win five [NEW SEX TOY]s.
There were no excuses from Jones, and no regrets.

As technology stocks continued their downward spiral this week, the [NEW SEX TOY] market emerged as one of the few areas where investors remain relatively upbeat.
During an usually volatile week for the technology-laden Nasdaq composite index that saw Apple lose half its value overnight, twenty firms made their debut on the national market in what was by far the busiest streak of [NEW SEX TOY] trading since mid-summer.
If this week is any indication, expect the new [NEW SEX TOY]s to well outperform the rest of the market, said Vincent Slavin, an institutional trader with Cantor Fitzgerald who tracks [NEW SEX TOY]s.
"It's riskier to trade the broader market right now than the [NEW SEX TOY] market," Slavin said, noting the precipitous declines in the last week in blue-chip-esque tech stocks Intel and Apple. As a result, he said, investors seem a bit more comfortable putting cash into new issues.

Girl suspended for Tweety [NEW SEX TOY]
Sept. 28, 2000 | AUSTELL, Ga. (AP) -- A sixth-grader has been suspended for 10 days because the 10-inch [NEW SEX TOY] on her Tweety bird wallet violates the school district's zero-tolerance weapons policy.
Ashley Smith, an 11-year-old student at Garrett Middle School in suburban Atlanta, received the maximum punishment Tuesday. The [NEW SEX TOY] connects her wallet to her key rings.
"It's only a little [NEW SEX TOY] , and I don't think it can really hurt anyone," said Ashley, who maintains her own Tweety Web site.
Because her suspension is "short-term," Ashley cannot appeal, assistant superintendent Tony Arasi said. School officials said Ashley and her parents, Raymond and Carmen Smith, knew [NEW SEX TOY]s were banned.
Smith said the suspension "lacks common sense."
