G'day

I just bought "PETRETTI's Coca-Cola Collectibles Price Guide - Edition 10" for $5.00 US....
This is a beautiful Book and crammed with 6,000 photo's and 650 odd pages.. Hardcover..BIG book.
Check it out if you get the chance it opened my eyes....
Found out some "genuine" stuff I had is Reproduction and "fantasy" (made recently in the old time style, but no original exists)...
Great way to check prices before buying bottles, signs, calendars, everything... there is a newer edition..
This edition is going on ebay at $15.00 USD... a good investment... It will help me with my collection.

My new Yahoo Club - I want to make a live club about Coke Collecting....
I am so tired of going to "dead" clubs, linkpages, sites etc....It takes a bit of work to keep your page current but it's worth it....
The internet is choking on yesterdays crap. You can't rely on stats etc cos you cant tell when a page was updated or created and it sure is getting hard to find a link to email anyone about their sites..... I don't wann be like that... So join me and get happening.....
Keep on coking !

Added a link to the page that shows all coke Ads from National Geographic.
It shows the Ad, the cover, the date and a description...
Very useful resource.
I am gonna duplicate it and try to simplify the format.
I'd hate this to disappear off the net.

Coke meeting was cool... Bought some stuff -
5 Shirts -
set of 6 Sydney Olympic Glasses in a box
An Ollies Trolley Glass (Pre McDonalds here in Victoria)
A Soda Jerk paper hat - red
A Russell (made in Australia) beginners Yo-yo - Red (very nice and rare as !)

Also met some other collectors who seem eager to help each other and spread the joy of Coke Collecting.

Joined up for 2 years and offered to make a FREE web page for any Coke Collector. Just like mine !

Venue was a nice glass box at the MCG with a view of the playing surface...That place is huge.

Overall ..I liked it !

Well I'm off to a meeting of an Aussie Coke Collectors club. Someone emailed me about it.
Meeting is in a room at the MCG (Aussie Football Ground) on Wednesday 25th July 2001 at 7:30.
I was in a club 12 years ago but the meetings ended up being a shopfront for a couple of members...I have always believed in collect...swap...don't sell. So I'll see if this new crowd are collectors or retailers. I'll give a feedback report later.
