re-volition
i
don't wanna say God Bless America, nor do i wanna say in death,
there is life, nor do i wanna say it'll be okay, nor do i
wanna say anything that everyone else has said, under their
breath.
i want to say, i conscientiously object, but war is money.
currently, our only peace is being without uneasiness. life
will go on, even before we realize that lives have been lost.
why haven't we known that we're all the same?
and the government that i have been weary about, the one that
i voted and planned and hoped against, is the very same government
that i have to believe in. where our defense budget is our
offense budget. to protect selfish me and my loved ones. remember
the
old lie: dulce et decorum est pro patria mori.

narcoleptic theory
the
lady and i agree on something. we both think we're all dreaming.
i used to think travelling in a car wasn't really travelling
at all. it would simply just be a change in your mind's mental
movie set. and i've thought this way, even before seeing The
Matrix and The Truman Show -- even before seeing Dark City
[cuz i don't like scary movies, yeh know] and definitely before
seeing Fight Club. but i can't talk about that cuz the first
rule, er, nevermind.
but you don't understand do you? i wasn't thinking that it
was happening inside our heads. i was thinking that it was
all an act. everything was props. people were actors. you
were an experiment. people want to alter their mindstates,
but other things are doing the altering.
on the other hand, the lady thinks we're all sleeping. and
sometime soon, we're gonna wake up to a different reality.
and soon after, we'll wake up again. and again and again and
and again again again.

disco neck
cuz
it's been a long, long-weekend. a weekend with cellphones
turned off, answering machines turned on, instant messaging
programs turned off, and the only thing turning me on is you
know who. hahha.
but at the same time, we, the roommates, chilled out. renting
four movies (namely: lock, stock and two smoking barrels,
something about mary [which i FINALLY saw for the first
time!], trainspotting, and fear and loathing in
las vegas), paying less than fifteen postage stamps worth
of food at Egg Roll King, and making spaghetti while spinning
house records in the background.
i think there was a time this weekend, we chose to take a
nap in the afternoon, and woke up at around 8PM. right when
it gets dark. it was like, a disconnected day from night,
where i woke up with a sore disco neck that i had to crack.
yeh know?

september
is
it september already? yeh know, it's totally funny that i've
known people, girls even, named after, well, months. i've
known an april, a may, a june, and even... a girl named september.
she was, i think, a transfer student from the east bay, only
at my elementary school for two years, not sure. like, right
around the time i was finishing up the 600's in my count-to-1000
notebook. eh, well i definitely, DEFINITELY remember her and
her name.
and i'll always remember my early septembers. especially my
schooltime septembers. a few fuzzy memories of each september
until september 99. non-schooltime septembers are just too
weird. more youth outside. backpacks galore. increased lack
of parking around apartment. but, in about a week and one
day, i'll be going back to school. starting my 5th year after
12th grade. (with one full year of not going to school and
working.) and in the words of Blink 182, when they were cool
and pre-MTV, "i guess this is growing up."
