I just finished reading "Lobotomy," the autobiographical work by Dee Dee Ramone. It was very entertaining and informative. Did you know that the Ramones weren't actually brothers in real life?

It has been a while since I have posted to this. Check out the mp3 in the audio section of this site called "stonefishpoison." It was inspired by the way the sears tower looks at night. I miss Chicago. Is anyone reading this? If so, I should put some interesting writing up here. I had an invisible counter from thecounter.com so I could see web stats, but it made the page take forever to load in Netscape, so I took it down and I have no idea if anyone actually sees this besides my friends and co-workers. Listen to my mp3s, watch my videos, tell me what you think how about a little email action

I bought a pocket pc off of ebay and now have no money at all until a week from Friday. If I want to eat I will have to scrounge change for cup o' noodles or sell possessions. If I want entertainment it will have to be free. By next week I should have regained the demented intensity of a starving artist. I threw my old couch away; it was comfy but old and smelly and now I will have to sit on the floor like a holy man.

I think the blog is working now so I will write a substantial entry. I was trying to set it up in IE, which was a mistake.
I am attempting to write myself out of this situation, which is that some material success and emotional stability has seemingly dulled my artistic axe; I eat whatever I want when I want and get soft and lazy, I buy all the music equipment I want and produce uninspired yet professional quality digital .wav files instead of the kind of "music" I made with punk bands or on a cheap 4-track cassette when I was emaciated and unstable. Perhaps some public whining will allow me to deconstruct my personality. I keep telling myself I am going to go on a Travis Bickle workout plan; "no more bad food, no more cigarettes, no more poisoning of the body," hold my arm over a bunsen burner, do push-ups until I puke up my $15 lunch. Feel immediate again, edgy and lean and brilliant, how I used to feel.
So this is a public record of me swearing that I will tonight begin fasting and purging, pushing myself physically and mentally to a transformed state that improves upon what I remember as my "strengths" of 8 years ago.
