A few guys from my department were on a business trip to New York City a few weeks ago, and one of them had taken a bunch of pictures. We all gathered around the picture of the Skyline--silently trying to picture that beautiful skyline without those twin towers.

I am so glad this week is over. It's been undeniably a hard one. Yet, we'll only have a short time of rest before things get crazy. I hate thinking about it. What kind of world will I give birth into????

I remember thinking the morning after, please tell me it was a dream...for a few seconds the world was okay...then I remembered it wasn't.

Can someone please tell me why Allah seems to hate us so much. I know that only the extremists believe that, but what cause do they give for why they insist that Allah will and must punish us. Why this week's terrible events are Allah's will and desire. What god hates his children that much?? Seriously foks, if anyone has thoughts on this please email me.5:40:56 PM -- respond -- ::

I was numb all day today. There aren't words to describe the fear chilling my heart. Fear for friends, family, and the future. The horror of today has effectively turned my brain to white noise.

I've seen things like this coming and I hate to see it unfold before my eyes. I wrote this 6 years ago and today this story I wrote as a teen is too real. My mother says it's all prophecy, calm and matter factly. Whatever this is: it's going to utterly change all of our lives.

When I arrived at work this morning a little before 8, my co-workers were talking about a plane that crashed into the World Trade Center. At this point, no one knew what it really was...I thought oh some drunk flying a Sesna...I was shocked and horrified to hear ten minutes later-another plane crashed and it was on purpose. This has been the longest day of my life. No one knew what was happened no one knew if we were safe. It wasn't long before I heard war on everyone's lips. I think that scared me more than the attacks. War.

I cried as I saw the replay on the televisions of the crash and the subsequent collapsing towers. What are we going to do now? I just want to send out my prayers--tread carefully now.

Where were you when our world changed?

I'm still slowly unpacking. The office and the baby's room is have to be unpacked and organised. The garage has to be sifted through. But the living room, dinning room, and kitchen are unpacked and wonderfully cozy. I've been shopping around fabric stores so I cna make my window treatments. Trying to match anything to blue carpet is hard when you aren't a flowery or blue girl at heart. I've decided to go with burgandy drapes--heavy and velvety. Sure it'll make the living room look a bit patriotic. Red white and blue (couches are off white)--but it could mean anything. Not just the america and texan flag have those colours, but the english, french, australian, lot's of other countries carry those colours. But, I have always wanted dark red drapes.

I've been feeling the baby doing back flips and leg kicks. If we hadn't already seen the sonogram I would have though he'd have a career as a Rockette. I'll have to settle for soccer hero. (Yep, we're having a boy!! Michael Francis Evans)

We were able to get a video of our sonogram--so we have a good start for our embarrassing pictures stash.

Okay--so...now that it seems I am completely weened from the internet and my blog--does this mean I'll be blogging less often?? Possibly. You_never_know. Well, the point is moot if we don't figure out what is wrong with our electricity. There's a weird short somewhere that keeps flipping the breaker--and disrupting power...sigh. So computer use is minimum--as comparitive as before.

Oh well, at least it's covered under our warranty.

In the next few weeks you are going to read one theme: How much I LOVE my new house. Grin. It's absolutely wonderful. After we are all unpacked and I have decorated the house accordingly, I'll post some pcitures and stuff.

Besides moving and being exhilarated and exhausted, life's been nice. Kittenhead is much calmer in the house than he ever was in the apartment. J. doesn't feel quite at home yet, but then again he's weird, smirk. We had one of our friends, R., come cleanse the house of icky stuff and such. So hopefully that will let J. feel like he's home. I simply love the simple joys of home owning. No neighboors on top or beside you to bang on walls, the ease of sliding the key into the door, the roominess...I am sure I'll detail each leetle thing I adore.

The hardest part of packing is the end...when your trying to pack odds and ends...where do ya put them. Cause you don't want to throw everything in a box! You spend way too long hemming and hawing and eventually you just end up throwing everything in boxes willy nilly.

I'd rather stay home and pack...work sucks. Bleh. Oh well 4 more months. I can make it. (Yes yes it is my mantra)

So, we close Friday...tomorrow....move this place Saturday...I better finish packing.

I hope everything goes well...no more funky suprises.

Monday was a Monday. I spent a tank of new gas going on an emergency trip to Austin to settle old debts before we could close on the house. It was the scariest, most intimdating thing I had ever done. Now it's done, I'm happy and all it well with the world.

This is something to think about when you go on the road and follow a band around the world.

Lazy lazy Sunday. It rained this morning so I slept to 1 pm. (Yes it does makes perfect sense...rain always makes people very very sleepy). When I woke up I cut J's hair. It looks good. I don't think I butchered it--but I guess we'll find out when our friends see it.

J had me buy (but is paying me back) 15 videos--which were on sale for 2.99 (you do the math--eek). This man is a sucker for sales. He'll buy something because it is on sale...look it's a great DEAL...and we do need it--sort of. We'll buy it later any way...better to buy it on sale. But I can't complain...ever since our "free" cable was discovered and turned off--I've been bored out of my skull--I've watched all the videos I have scores of times.

Does any one reading turned off my my grammatical style. Lengths upon lengths of run on sentences??

It's Monday tomorrow--I hate Mondays and I hate I have to go to work.

So first she did "Baby hit me one more time"...then Miss Spears did "Oops, I did it again"...now it's "I am a Slave for You"

Come on everyone--join me in a nice game of Give Britney a Wack! It's lot's of fun and builds up your hand/eye coordination!
