2:10 PM New Job! It's been a week here at my new job at Strategic Innovations. My first deadline is coming. This is the life. Another project pending while I ease into the work environment. I have yet to find a gym and get back into shape. And that car I'm supposed to get! What a nice problem to have.

12:44 PM Making A Life, Making A Living A great site for happy people on the fast track. Sucess is not measured by choosing either/or but by deciding to choose a balance. As I keep saying, "Live Life. That's what it's for."

2:00 PM Breadcrumbs. I learned something new today! Not a new concept, not even a new word. Just a cool term for an essential feature in any big web site. Breadcrums are the those things somewhere on top of a page that tells you where you are. Just like Hansel & Gretel in the woods trying to find their way back home.

8:51 AM I have always been an advocate of technology, but I continue to seek for my specialization. Since I started my graduate studies in Technology Management, I also started looking for something to work my PhD on. An option would be (HCI) Human-Computer Interaction. Once I'm an expert, I could even become a techno-journalist on the side! It's too early to decide though. To be sure, there are still other fields of study that I have yet to look into. For now, I have decided to work towards making life easier for users of technology. Newsflash! That's exactly what I'm doing in my current job. But, it's more focused on the Internet capitalists. Global Sources has a long way to go tweaking all their sites for a great customer experience.

Looking forward, the particular position that I firmly believe is just waiting for me is Creative Good's Customer Experience Analyst. Of course, eventually, as I gain experience dealing with clients and stuff, I'd like to become a Customer Experience Consultant. You can check out their jobs page here.

Lost my wallet. Again. Just goes to show you, never buy fake stuff unless you plan to wear it only once or twice. I put my wallet inside my jacket pocket. I even zipped it up so it won't slip out. It slipped out anyway through the hole at the bottom. Don't know where it is now. I think I'm kinda getting used to losing stuff. Still hurts though. I really shouldn't stuff more than a thousand pesos in my wallet. My next wallet is really going to be chained to my body. Argh! - 1:33 PM

Product Manager Online Group I'd like to apply for this position some day. Hopefully at Internet time.

The Product Manager has multiple roles in the production department: mentor, liaison, traffic cop, cheerleader and chief whip-cracker. The duties range from special projects to strategic initiatives that will take this division to the next level. Perhaps more than any other staffer, the Product Manager must be forward-thinking, finding ways to use existing resources in new and exciting ways to challenge the staff and to push this division forward, on both traditional and non-traditional platforms.

Duties include (but are not limited to): Oversee the weekly production flow. The Product Manager will run the weekly planning meetings and work closely with producers, artists, and webmasters as well as the tech department to guarantee a well-planned, thorough and balanced report. Coordinate special projects, both ongoing ones and other news driven ones.

While this does not necessarily mean hands-on work in all cases, the Product Manager must work closely with the staff to ensure the complete package (words, photos, graphics) is prepared and then coordinate with the webmasters and other appropriate departments and individuals regarding execution of the projects.
