Ah, college. I'm still loving it, but it's still killer busy. You might take notice of the large gaps in my post dates. I can't really help it, I don't have much time to sit down. But I had a really great weekend and I want to lay it down somehow so I might remember it. I hate writing with pens on paper, so...this is the next best thing! It's probably more permanent, too. I guess that'd be debatable. So anyway...Shannon stayed with me at my house this weekend. Yummy. I went home for the first time since I started college, and it was verah nice. My mom took me and Shannon shopping for food stuffs, and I got to see the Cell (kicked much ass)...Oh, and Sunday we went to Hillsville to visit the huuuuge ass flea market they have there every year. There's some cool stuff there. All kinds of swords and knives and old trinkets and comic books and...just great stuff. Takes forever to look at it all, and if you don't go loaded you'll come out broke...but it's fun. Love it.
Also, had a great day Labor Day. I spent most of it driving, since I drove Shannon back to State before I came here to East Carolina. But on the way we stopped at Steak and Shake (our restaurant, love that place) and stuffed ourselves shamelessly. Then we went to her dorm for a few hours. Verah much fun, all weekend.
And now that this has all been reported, I'm signing off to do homework. Adios.

Thank God, two seconds to sit down. College is crazy. I haven't had a free second (barely even to sleep) in the past two weeks. So much work, so much visitation, so much parties. Yes. It is great, but I'm not sure how long I can handle all this. It's a good thing we have a break coming up. I'll be heading home to see the folks.Oh, and I'll also be taking my computer home to get it fixed. Damn CD-Rom went screwy! Can't listen to CDs, play games, or load any software or...anything. I hate it. But, thank goodness, it's still under warranty. I might just take it tomorrow to get it fixed, rather than wait 'til the break. I'm sure they'll take my word for it that it's not a year old yet. Riiiiiight.
Some quick updates! Spent the weekend with Shannon. Had a great time. Miss her to death. I get to see her again this weekend, though, so it's all good. Worked on a story for a while, and I'm actually not hating it. For the most part.
On another note, I can smell illegal substances from my room, and the RA is like three doors down. And nothing happens. College is so freakin' cool.

Wow, it's been forever since I've been able to update. I don't know where to begin. I'll start with classes.Today was my second day of classes at college as a Freshman. It was fun! I only have one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. ARCHERY. Yes, people, archery. Is that not cool? Then I have the rest of the day off, which is definitely sweet.
And yesterday I had four classes, and three of them were related to my major (art, for those of you who don't know)...soooo, it was more or less a good day. I met a lady (one of my Professors, actually) and she was verah funny. She was cute as hell, but she's never shaved her armpits or legs.
In related news, I'm going to see Shannon this weekend. Thank God. I'm dying here, all by myself. She's moving to college Saturday, and I's goin' to help her. Well, I'll probably get there after she's all moved in, but that can't be helped. I'm gonna stay the night there with her, and come back sometime Sunday evening. Hopefully I'll get all homework done today or tomorrow, so I can stay good and late. But I can never tell when a bout of laziness is gonna strike.
Alright, time to go shopping.

Okay, people. I apologize for the absence. I've been moving into my college dorm. And STRUGGLING with getting this damn internet thing to work, here. Now that it has, I'm addicted to the speed. Ethernet, I love thee. Now that I've let you know where I am, I must return to unpacking.

How is it that watching a new Tenchi movie always leaves me feeling inspired? I just watched The Tenchi Movie 2, Daughter of Darkness. Man, talk about your shocker. Spoiler, for those of you who haven't seen it (and the few of you who might plan on it in the future). This psycho demon from the tree of darkness--one of Yosho's spurned loves--discovers Tenchi, Yosho, and the gang and decides to wreak some havoc. She steals a piece of Tenchi's hair, and uses some odd tree-of-darkness-machine-thingie to create a crossbreed of Tenchi and herself. Freaky, yeah? Then she sends this DNA experiment chick, called Miyuko (okay, Miyuko I know...she's in some of the later series...but this part I had no clue about) to kill Tenchi. Strange! And only Ryoku can tell there's something weird about her. Well, Yosho has a clue, but he's pretty laid back about it. Aaaanyway, Tenchi gets fed up with Miyuko and Ryoku fighting, and he completely snaps. I've never seen Tenchi lose it like this before. He smacked Ryoku in the face! Damn strange. And it was completely real. They didn't stretch the characters at all.Oh, and Miyuko and Tenchi share more than a few "intimate" moments...but during those moments, the demon from the tree of darkness had Miyuko all possessed and stuff. The killer thing is: Tenchi is falling for her! Even though this girl is here calling him "daddy," he's about to fall heeeeeaaaad over heels. The only thing keeping him at bay is Ryoku. I love this story.

Crikey. I could've done without this, buuuut. . .This story is beginning to seem remarkably similar to the Exodus. Hmm.

Also, I think I have a crush on this Gelfling chick. I don't think it would work out, though. Not that I'm racist or anything, but I believe there are some issues we wouldn't be able to climb."Sweetie, you know I love you...but I really can't concentrate on anything with all that spooky woodland flute music. Do you think maybe you could take a break?"
"She's not my daughter. No, she's just short. WHO's a sick bastard?? Let's take this outside, buddy!!"
Actually, when I look close, it appears that she has a fine layer of fur. This is unattractive.

Here I am, back from a two-day vacation to Gastonia to visit family. I wasn't too particularly hyped for that trip, but it turned out pretty good. I found this incredibly cool store at Concord Mall, and know what I bought? The Dark Crystal. I mean, gah, childhood memories, much? I love this movie! I also got four new anime movies, and the Perfect Circle CD. Very good, if any of you were thinking about getting it for yourselves.I'm watching The Dark Crystal right now. I think I wish I was a Gelfling. They look cool. Plus, they're part of a spiffy 1,000 year prophecy to destroy ultimate evil incarnated in vulture-like forms called Skeksis. NEAT! I'm going to watch.
