Boy, I haven't written to this blog in ages. After some careful consideration (and a bag of chips), I've decided to put to rest this, my first blog. I just don't feel the need to do two personal on-line journals and, in light of any future long-term commitments, I think perpetuating my new site is worth more than this one. I will be 'porting over some of the stuff on this site (I'm not sure if I still want to do the music reviews, I don't have any money to buy new CDs!) to the new place and I will get around to doing that sometime soon. This site will still be up until then though. So I bid bye-bye to this blog, but if you're still interested in finding more about the exciting things I do everyday (haha, that's funny), you can log on to raffyespiritu.net. I've also made a blog for me and my friends called you momoy! and it occasionally has smart-ass remarks that you might find vaguely amusing. Anyway, it's been great having everyone over and I wish you all a good day! Thanks for making this site worth making!

Finally! I've uploaded the all-new raffyespiritu.net complete with a blog. I still haven't quite decided if I'm going to kill this blog or keep both going. I'll figure out what to do eventually. So please visit my site and tell me what you think, ok?

Blogger failed me today. I wrote a really long entry and it didn't register on my weblog because, for some reason, I couldn't publish my page. It just kept giving me this error message and when I tried to redo it, it promptly disappeared.

Oh, by the way, raffyespiritu.net should be up sometime this week. The internet access at home is really screwing up (COMPUSERVE, you SUCK!) so I will have to save my work on a floppy and go over to a friend's house and use her access to upload everything. I will post it here though once it is finally up.

Weather has been really, REALLY cold lately. And plus that, I most likely will spend my Christmas in the Chicago area, where it snows. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. I've never seen snow. Real snow, that is. The closest I've ever been to actual snow was a night flurry while I was visiting a cousin in Bloomington, Indiana.

I'm finally more or less over with the bug. Now I'm just stuck with this phlegmy cough. (Now, THEY don't really want to hear about that, OK!) Uh, ok.

Argh! I've come down with the flu bug (I think). But whatever it is I feel positively crappy. I just hope that it's reached it's peak and it starts to go down within the week. I hate being stuck at home doing nothing. 3rd Rock From The Sun is hilarious. I'm so glad they put it right after The Simpsons.

Thanksgiving weekend is winding down, but Union Square is still packed with people. I've never seen so many people in the city before. Kind of nice, though, with Macy's Christmas decor flashing in the background, it sort of brought a Chrismas-y feeling. Urk. I can't believe I'm getting sentimental over wreaths.

I've been getting tired of the present layout and overall look of The HoLE so I've been thinking of seriously revamping it. Yeah, sure, I say things like this a lot but I will get around to doing in soon. I'm planning on bolstering my raffyespiritu.net site and really making it the hub for all three of my websites, which also pretty much means I'll be moving the blog to that site instead of hosting it on this page. I still have to design the new look for raffyespiritu.net so it won't be ready till possibly the next month. I really want to get over the whole sophomoric feel my sites have and just try and make them as kick-ass as possible. That, of course, is subjective, but you get the picture. I hope you like your stay here at my on-line hovel, and don't forget to tell all your friends about how impressed you were. Just kidding.

Oh yeah, Happy Thanksgiving! Kind of late, I know, but better late....

I just don't understand what is up with Geocities. They have been really picky lately and I'm having a really hard time using Blogger with them. Argh.

Man, I am never going retail again. This may be old news, but you can find a lot of cheap stuff on Haight at shops like Aardvark and Crossroads Trading. I highly recommend them.

I found this site called pickover.com and it has some pretty interesting puzzles and other stuff of...interest on it. The ESP trick really is just a trick. See if you can figure out how it works. But it definitely ISN'T ESP.

I know this information is a bit delayed, but I can't believe that they killed off Maude Flanders on The Simpsons. I wonder what made them do it. Maybe they figured the show was getting a little stale (hard to believe) and it needed a "death in the family" boost. Oh well. Good luck to Ned.

I am having MAJOR problems with Geocities concerning Blogger. I am probably going to move the entire site to f2s within the next week or so. It's such a shame, I actually like the service and on-line HTML editor that Geocities provides. Too bad they're getting picky.

This is an exerpt from the daily ELAGDA report. Truth was never so colorful.

On the political front, Estrada finally admits he received the 200 M, but says it was a bribe from Singson which he refused. Instead, he deposited it to the Muslim Youth Education Foundation. He says the money is still intact - which proves his innocence. This is such an insult to the intelligence of the Filipino people. He must think that all Filipinos are as "bobo" as him.

My friend Jerome just sold me on getting a Handspring. Ah, the glory of materialism.

News from back home in the Philippines has been pretty bad. Not only is the attempted impeachment of cruddy President Erap causing dismay, but apparently there's now a full-blown typhoon wreaking havok on the country. And according to The Inquirer, the Philippines has been rated the most accident-prone country this century (I think, visit the site to check yourself). That news isn't very good for the economy, or the tourism industry. Oh yeah, plug plug. Allow me to sell you in on one of the best beaches in the world...Boracay. I wish I was there now relaxing on the beach with the sun slowly setting, sipping sangria and hearing the wind blow through the coconut trees. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Dammit, it's way too cold here.

Uh, Happy Halloween! I know it was yesterday but how the heck was I supposed to blog the news if I was out to see the sights? Castro was happening; people were getting boozed up, chicks were walking around with nothing but body paint on, and strange strip acts on fire escapes. Decadent, decadent, decadent. Can't wait till next year!

Are you willing to help sick kids, dying rainforest, hungry children, and cancer-wary women? If you are but are too cheap to donate 50% of your salary to their causes, you can still help by going to these sites:

The Hunger Site
The Rainforest Site
The Kids AIDS Site
The Child Survival Site
The Breast Cancer Site

And if you're an avid on-line shopper (or want to try it out), do your fellow man some good by shopping at Greater Good for all your media-created needs. They're affiliated with several large and very well known on-line stores (the ones you've been seeing on billboards and on TV). What better deal is that? I would, but I don't have a credit card. Any companies out there willing to try me on?

I detest coños. Here's why:

"Hey manong driver, can you just make potpot na the car, manang is too tagal to make run eh."

Whatever.

end of file.

welcome to the hole. this is my site where i can be me. not that i was never truly me, but you get what i'm saying. this is also the result of catharsis; my way of expressing myself digitally, artistically. i've written a couple of music reviews which i will be updating soon so watch out for that. i've got links to my other two sites which i think you'll like as well. rounding it off you'll be able to download free movie files, pictures, and read what i have to say about the world around me. but don't worry about it being another fatalistic, agnostic, angsty telling of my woes, fears and aggravations. i'm changed my evil ways and have given it a positive twist. after all, why give your opinion if no one is better because of it? so put your feet up, give the mouse a hearty squeeze and prepare yourself for an experience you're likely to tell other people.
