Electric Sheepdog's Zappa-esque Crap |
June 3, 2001
Well what do you know? Electric Sheepdog has a lotta gigs in three different states. Our music mixes influences like Mr. Bungle, Mr. Rogers, Frank Zappa, Aaron Carter, King Crimson and Tribal Tech into quite a stew. For more info on us, please head on over to our BIO. We are going to be changing web servers soon, and by the end of June ElectricSheepdog.com will be live. Blowchunk.com will continue to exist, as a source of information on all of Bryan's projects, including Mantik, the Rock Opera Life's Dance, and Libertarian folk-singer Randy Jefferson. Electric Sheepdog grew out of a Pittsburgh-based band called ESP, and on June 9 we'll be returning to Pittsburgh to play Coolpepper's Hothouse. In addition to our brand new song detailing how Jello is made, and other new hits like "Disney Has Made Me a Pedophile" and "I Love the Devil," the show will contain ESP classics we've just learned for this show, including "The Ballad of Buster Cherry," "Shooting Putty at the Moon" and other surprises. For more info on this and all of our other upcoming performances, keep your eyes on that GIGS list at all times! Now that the band has a complete line-up, we've been writing a lot of new material. We're looking at going into the studio soon, and hope to have a nre release available this summer. In the meantime, you are certainly welcome to check out the MP3's or purchase the CD by ESP, the band that Electric Sheepdog grew out of.
