I slept until 2. After cleaning myself up I went into town. First stop; get a hoagie, where I ran into Steve whom I haven't seen in a while. We talked for a while, I stopped by my job to return some movies and check my hours for next week. Then we went to the comic book store where I played chess some chess. I won 5 games in a row and then lost to Mike because I was running late and needed to call Cayte, while he was taking a long time thinking out his moves while I didn't think much since I just wanted the game to be over. I called Cayte around 5 and picked her up at the hotel she's staying at. We went to some stores where I was looking for screws for my computer because I lost some while putting in the scsi card. Couldn't find any. We stopped by a book store where Cayte applied for a job. Then we went to the movie theater and saw Sweet November and Requiem for a Dream back to back. Spending time with Cayte is becoming a required element of my day. It's something I always do and I feel I need to do. Not as much for her as for myself. She helps me stay in check with reality. After the movies we went to a diner and talked for about 2 hours. I told her that I would rather not hang out with her and Josh at the same time anymore because someone always gets angry and upset. Soon after Josh called and we went to pick him up disregarding my previous objection. We came back to the diner. Hung out, made a mess and got ready to head out. Josh called shotgun and wouldn't surrender it to Cayte even though she has trouble walking and it's easier on her to sit in the front. Cayte got upset and started walking from the diner to the hotel, which was about half a mile away. I sat in the car for about a minute somewhat dumbfounded and surprised that my hypothesis was proved correct so soon and then went after Cayte. We walked together for a while, talking about life and such and eventually Josh cought up with us. He had been drinking whiskey from his new hipflask throughout the evening and at this point it was noticable. When we got to the hotel he made some comments about fucking Cayte's mom which didn't sit too well with Cayte. Fortunately nothings particularly bad resulted, but it was a very unpleasant situation and I did my best not to pick sides. Josh and I went back to the diner. Around 4am I dropped Josh off at home and headed home myself.

Went to a larp today. Cayte came but didn't have too good a time because her hip was bothering her. I lack the impetus to keep regular updates on the blog. There might be a hiatus forthcoming.

cayte got into a car accident last saturday. i spent saturday-monday with her at the hospital. nothing's broken but she's having trouble walking and her short term memory's not too good. she stayed at with me monday and tuesday. tonight she's staying with her mom at RRI.

got the wrong scsi card. stole satanic verses, tibetan secret doctrines, and illuminatus!. drove dad to aeroport. made reservations for dinner at a chinese place to go with cayte. last minute she didn't want to go. went to josh's house with cayte after meeting her at coffee house. drank vodka and rum from a flask. sarah and josh went to the movies. cayte and i fought, drove around, then parted.

work. cayte and josh drop by. cayte gets angry and leaves. cayte, josh and sarah show up at 10:15. worked with Brad. talked to cayte. she went home. went to crystal. saw kelly. went home and finished Lila.

I got up round 1. Went to work to put in my dreary 2-10:15. Cayte called me a few times and said she'd come by around the time I got off. She and Sarah showed up arround 10, but the store was closed and I couldn't let them in. I thought it wouldn't take long so I asked if they could just have a cigarette and wait for me. It was freezing cold out and Julian was taking forever closing out, while for some reason he wouldn't let me and Chris leave, even though we were doing absolutely nothing. After finally being let out I got into Cayte's car so we could go to a diner. Sarah, meanwhile, picked up Josh. She was surprisingly angry at me and I wasn't sure why. I assumed it was because I kept her waiting longer than expected and I didn't feel I needed to apologize for that, so the battle of wills raged on. While arguing she took a wrong turn so it took us a while to get to the diner. Once we were there things began to subside and before long they were close to normal. Cayte gave both Josh and me a ride back to town, since I had left my car in the parking lot near my work. Earlier Sarah let slip a comment about our planned trip to Mardi Gras which Josh didn't fully hear, but he remembered something about it and started drilling us as to what it was. We didn't want to tell him so we played around it which greatly frustrated him Josh until he got angry. When we dropped him off at his house he was fuming and slammed the car door when he got out. Sarah will probably tell him tomorrow. When we got to the parking lot Cayte started teaching me how to drive stickshift. I didn't make her car stall once, which is something I'm proud off. By this time, she and I had all our differences settled once again and things were back to "normal". So it goes.
