I haven't been able to update for a couple of days, but here it is: 1.) OSU Fires Cooper. Good move. They should hire Jim Tressel or Larry Kehres. But they won't. 2.) The Blue Jackets are actually good. Who'd have thunk it? 3.) Just what the Indians need. A high-priced, low on-base slugger in his 30's. 1.1.01
New Year's Day...a day for football. The first football of the new millennium. I'm torn, though...do I watch the best day of football all year, or the 24-hour Iron Chef marathon? A little of both, it turns out. My New Year's Day TV observations: 3.10.00
I can't even begin to wrap my brain around how disturbing this is.
A debate and ribs? Sign me up. 2.10.00
Apparently, the singular form of "buttocks" is "buttocks".

Number nine. Number nine. Number nine. Number nine. Number nine. Number nine. Number nine. Number nine. http://goducks.fansonly.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/100100aab.html It's Oregon's highest ranking in 36 years. The two scary things for everybody else: It's been a fun season so far...let's hope it stays that way at USC next Saturday. 29.9.00
Another sign of the Apocalypse.
When I woke up this morning and wandered downstairs, the TV was on. Somebody was showing Short Circuit 2. Johnny Five is alive. Nobody beats the WHIZ.
Ouch. Bad news for Apple. Maybe if there was software available for their computers, this wouldn't have happened. The karma boomerang is in full effect. I got an e-mail from a friend I haven't talked to in about three years tonight. Weird. 27.9.00
I'm getting fat. Yet another good thing about having an NHL team in your city: I shared an elevator with Gerard Gallant and Rick Wamsley tonight.
Over the last day or so, I've gotten in touch with some old friends I haven't talked to in years. They're all doing really well. If there's one thing I wish I was better at, it's staying in touch with people. Most of the time, I'm too lazy to send a freaking e-mail. Anyway, there are a few more people I want to say hi to. I think I'll e-mail them tonight.
Damn. I thought I took that CD back to the library already.
To do: Clean out car Redesign web page. Make it legible. Find out about getting a transcript to Ohio U so I can get the heck out of TV. It's too bad bands like Weezer and Tripping Daisy are going to be remembered for their goofy novelty-type singles. ("Buddy Holly" for Weezer, "I Got A Girl" for Tripping Daisy.) Both bands rock my lame ass. 26.9.00
I just signed up for a weblogger at blogger.com. Will I have time to update this every day? Will I get sick of this? I don't have any idea. Stay tuned. |
