i think i'm a night owl. i was so sleepy in class last nite, all i could think about was getting home and hopping in bed. no internet for me i vowed. no email, no blog, no tinkling w/site. just straight to bed.
i get in and only missed an hour of survivorfest. i decided to watch the last 2 hours, which meant i'd be sitting at my desk. automatically my hand turned on the computer. next thing i know i'm online. before i even check my caller id or answering machine. go figure. then my sleepiness wore away. next thing i know it's 1 am. i pry my cramped digits off the keyboard only b/c i have to come in to workstudy @ 9 and go to 2nd job by 1pm. i need sleep, yet i'm not sleepy @ 1, in fact i'm revived. and no i'm not drinking any coffee or coke. i have no food in my abode and only water. the last of my consumption is when i'm still @ school.
i spend all day sleepy and dreaming of my bed, crying that i have to wake up so early.
i notice when i get passionate about making sites again, i tend to work late nites usually till 2 and 3 am, so maybe that's the culprit. i wish i could find a job that i could design sites from 8pm to 5am and sleep during the day.
i dont know what time i leave job 2 today, so maybe i'll be on, maybe not. right now my eyes are burning and my bed is calling.

not a helluva lot to say today/nite. i am proud to say i never watched a single episode of survivor. i had no clue who was who. even my mom had opinions on who got kicked off. i'm not in the pop culture loop. partially cuz i don't watch very much tv and also cuz i can't afford cable and reception sux with just antennas.
but i did manage to watch the last show tonite to see who'd win the $$$, maybe i'll watch the reruns
got an 84 on my math test tonite, much better than i expected, but i prob would have aced it had i studied, so i'm content. it was on slope, point slope, slope intercept, yada yada yada. learned scientific notation and exponents tonite. one more class then test 4 then the final.
i register on monday, gonna be taking:
college algebra
typography
digital photographic production
fundamentals of interactive design.
can't wait to get cracking. gotta get out my planner and get on track. also need to cram up on some vitamins.

*clicking heels*...i got a $50 gift certificate to my favorite place in the world next to the gap and target...*drum roll*...blockbuster.! thanx megan.
i got that and a bunch of goodies on my last day @ work. so i can rent about 12-13 movies. plus i got this offer from mci to switch to them by 8/31 and they'll give me $50 gift certificate to bbuster too. i'll see a hundred dollars worth of movies. i'm so happy.

ever feel like your life is just churning along and then WHAM! it dead ends. yea that's me.
and why the hell do billboards have fine prints? i'm doin 70 on 285 squinting all the way. i think 1/2 the accidents are due to people trying to read the fine print on billboards.
my site is still coming along, got my layout down all i need is to keep adding my content. i keep trying to keep my navigation under control. and everytime i test it, another link goes down. damn u dreamweaver....hee hee just joking...u kno i lub ya. ok class starts in 15. i'm out!

another lazy day...tv is so boring on sundays. yea i had stuff around the apt i could've done, but ahhh...i'll put it all off till next weekend. instead i took back the tapes, gosh this puta is soooooooo slow
anyhoo, i played a bit more with my site. it sux sometimes you have an idea for a simple addition and come to find out it effects other pages, next thing you know the layout is screwed and the navigation is warped. such is the life of a designer i s'pose.
i'm pretty sad today...my energy is low i took a long nap and i'm still sleepy. ah well...another week starts...whoopee!

3/5 involved sex & death. by the 4th movie i wondered if there was some subliminal theme i conjured up. for the most part i really liked them, snow falling was so touching, i want to be loved like that. *sigh*

day 2 in the new salt mines...i'm 99.99999% sure i do NOT want to keep working in corporate america. don't get me wrong the job is not bad, it's fine, i just like the idea of working for me more and more each day. especially since i got a desk i feel like i have a pseudo office @ home. a girl can dream.
once again i am doing research, this time on FAQ's about attending college. i know what i am learning now will be to my advantage in the near future, i just really didn't want to leave the apt today so that's why i'm a tad grumpy.
