hello there! Well, exactly 10 days until I leave for college..the summer went fast, even though I didn't have as exciting of a summer as last year! I worked, at a day camp for the past 7 weeks. This week will be my last, with my veyr own group of five-year-olds. It was irritating, and hard, and scary at times, but all in all, I am glad that I stuck it out. I know this may sound lame, but I feel more confident that I will be a good mom someday. Which is good, because I've always been unsure of how I would handle my own children. Hmm..mostly I just hung out with friends, which was quite a novelty, since it was my first summer at home with them in many years. Oh, and I kept an online diary, which was quite cool, I have something like 42 entries on it, and people actually read it and leave me comments!
Anyway, I am excited about school, but I have to admit that as much as I've said that I want out of this town, I will miss it, and the people that go along with it. In some ways, I'd like to stay, and just throw it all away. But I know that this is our time-the time to go and start something new, and leave the old stuff behind. I'll never forget home, but I think it is time to find a new one--hopefully thta place is Cornell, cause if it isn't--well, I don't feel like inflating my blue chair more than once, guys! Peace out, and let me know college info as soon as you get it!!

i'm finally HOME.... was away in asia for about a month, then after so much indecision, i decided to go to san francisco afterall. the trip was great.. well worth it. i just stayed w/ mark @ stanford for on night.. the rest of the time i stayed w/ an old friend... haven't seen her in 6 yrs-- she's like a big sister to me. we went around shopping.. fisherman's wharf.. arcade (dave & buster's-- so fun!).. ruby skye's at nite (club)... lots of girl talk til the wee hrs of the morning.. ahh it was just great. i came home yesterday, only to realize that i have so little time at home as well. in a wk i'm leaving for ocean city, maryland for a few days... then a wk after that i'm leaving for boston!!! ahhh!! i actually still need to do some dorm shopping... sheets, towels, decorations, etc. etc. going to do that today i hope... i'm getting really excited about leaving for college-- not sad really. i'm just psyched to be living on my own (sort of)... :) don't be sad guys!! yea things are changing.. but they are changing for the better, honestly. cuz your true friends will still be your friends-- and how cool is it that not only do you get to visit them at their college (vice versa).. you can do ANYTHING you want to now cuz there are no parents and curfews... and on top of all that, you're going to meet so many amazing ppl... take more interesting classes (than HS ones).. and if you ever get homesick, just remember that college isn't like HS.. we get so many big big breaks so it's not really like we're away for an entire year at all. so you get the best of both worlds. cheer up :) the best is yet to come~

wow... it's been a while since ive been on this blog. before i forget.... happy birthday to jen and lawrence!!! (belated).

so how is everyone? i just finished summer school at UCLA. i am going to taiwan in about.... five hours. coming home on the 16th and flying out to the east coast on the 22nd. yeah... the reality of college just been hitting me.... sometimes very strongly, sometimes very hard.... like this morning... i was feeling awful last nite so i missed a good friend's party and went to bed at ten... it was the earliest ive ever slept in MONTHS so i woke up at four am... i tossed and turned and decieded to clean my room and sort out my things (sort of unpack fromucla and pack for taiwan) and then it just suddenly hit me that i will be only in LA for one more week of my life!! i was so scared and sad... but yeah... when it hits, it hits hard.

so how is everyone else doing? remember that if any of you are ever in philly, to give me a call and we shall meet up... and i will definitely go to boston and nyc to visit...

Oh, the wonderful feeling of actually having gotten something accomplished-my summer reading is done! But will still have to start looking at calc again, so as not to embarass myself when I take my math placement exam. I tried to teach my friends Ultimate, but to no avail. Guess we'll be playing touch-football for the rest of the summer. Oh well. Hope you are having fun in Malaysia, Lisa!!
