Well bugger me if it hasn't been a month since i wrote in my blog. Well in fact it hasn't quite been a month, but it wasn't really an invitation. I now have two jobs, ne in BHS which is no naff and boring i can hardly bare it (and i've only been doing it two weeks. The other is at Footlocker where i am now a receptionist. Job description 'answering three customer questions "whats in stock/ where are you/ when do you close"' and photocopying. thats a slight exageration; i enjo doing the job in fact. Kevin Garnett is coming to the store on Friday and were having a little reception in reception (whch saves money on changing door signs.) his weekend i have no plans except maybe studying and sleeping.

sounds good to me

I've just spent 2 hours scrubbing the bathroom and now I'm wondering Why? Andrew's working his day off cos the air conditioning unit exploded (like all things that go wrong, they're programmed to do so on your day off). Anyway i'm setting up camp out side the bathroom with enough fire power to stop even the most desperate person from taking a crap; hopefully the barbed wire and land mines will arrive soon.

Last week I was in Ibiza. Andrew phoned me from work on Thursday but as i was in an exam my mobile was out..anywyas i got out and had the following message

Urgent pls call r
u 3 2 come 2
ibiza next week?

Anyway the first thought running through my head was WTF! I finally thought that he had gone mad!!! He managed to get a really good deal, but he is good at negotiating prices with his work, so a good deal was no problem - we even got an air conditioned room for the price of a standard.
The flight was 7:15 sunday morning, so we had to leave at 4. Would have been ok but we were seeing mum and dad the night before for dads birthday, so we only had about 3 hours sleep!!!!

The week was brilliant, the first few days it was around 27 degrees and on saturday it was (apparently) about 32 degrees. The hotel was really nice, and the room we stayed in was air conditioned (it was almost too cold at times!) We spent the day sunbathing or walking around town, and the evenings...well.....drinking!!! There was a bar about two minutes walk from us called DJ's and the boys that ran it were really friendly. We also got chatting to a few more guys there; Brian & Tony and Darren and Allan who were hoping to keep in touch with. There was another decent bar in the old town but the guyz were both slightly off the heads...TBH each time i got the bill, the guy would stumble over it, look hazy and say ..."erm about 6000" which was amusing (though expensive!)

On friday evening we went to a restaurant called The Studio and we had really great meal, sitting on a small balcony over looking The street of the virgin, some chance of there ever a virgin walking down that street!!! After dinner we went to a little bar for a drink and ended up at an underwear party with Kevin the rep from Respect, it was all very proper - why bother to buy CK's if no one else can admire then (unless your the PM of course). getting home at 4am was not a good idea

Most bizaare. There's obviously something wrong with the place now cos we lost the quiz last night!

<----Brighton---->

Andrew and I drove down to Brighton this weekend. I phoned about 8 places Sunday morning but all of them were fully booked, but we took an overnight bag just in case, and fotunately got a room in a Travelodge. It was the first time i've seen proper sun in months, we walked through the town, looked in a few shops and walked onto the pier. I now know where hetorosexuals originate from!!!! The ratio must of been "Everyone on the pier" : 2. Having said that we did go back the next day to watch people getting drenched on the water slide logfumethingybob. In the evening we went to a club called Revenge whivh was a luagh and i danced (if you can call it that) for the first time in ages. On sunday we bumped into a guy who used to work in KW4 - in fact he'd only left last wednesday and moved o Brighton Saturday. Monday evening Alan came round for drinks. He's a tory so I was a bit out numbered, but i managed to keep my wig on and ignore the politics talk as much as possible....He's a nice guy though (besides being a T*ry gigl; oh and straight; Ah well no-ones perfect! gigl)

Well here we are sitting in the internet place that is opposite Andrews office. We are waiting for the glass people ( no they are not people made of glass, they just deliver it) to come and fit some boards over the windows (yes I know I said glass but this is a crazy world that we live in). Hopefully, as Andrew says "this will stop the oiks smashing his windows when they all protest about the capitalism that pays their benefit". I am not quite in tume with his views, just his personality ( big as it is). The glass people have just called and they are on their way, so we can go home soon in the new (well old) BMW.
