Don't you just love when people that don't give a damn about what you think rant about not being able to talk?

Heh.

Two years ago, when anyone in the media that observed the Gregorian calendar was hyping the 'Millenium' (which they couldn't even get straight), I was dealing with some weird ass thing. My mom, who I love dearly, seemed fine with the idea that the whole fucking world was going to end. No, that God was coming back. Or something.
She spent most of that year sleeping.

I spent most of it in hell.

So the local stations have all been knocked out with the WTC attack, right? Last night channel fucking 11 went back to their regular Sunday programing, which consists of these two people that tell everyone the end is near, God's a-comin', all that shit.
I walk out of my room, to get ready for bed, and my mom's watching them.
They said God's coming back in a cloud, and we're now in seven years of something, I don't know, I blanked out, the past two years have meant nothing, we're right the fuck back where we started with the fucking end of the world shit.

I don't about you, but generally when kid's mother's tell them shit, they tend to want to believe it, y'know, it's their mother and all, the one that tells them there are no demons living in the closet waiting to eat them as soon as the lights go out, all that...

Maybe I'm selfish, but I don't want to die.

This isn't helping. The goddamn news and their goddamn headlines screaming war isn't helping.

I wouldn't know if I died, I realize that. It's just the whole knowing, or thinking someone else knows when it's going to happen that fucks me up.

Nan's lived through plenty of wars, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Cuban Missle Crisis, the Cold War, Desert Storm... I don't want to think about her going this way.

I don't want to think about my cat and dog dieing in some goddamn fireball.

Those two stupid bastards on the tv should've had their goddamn antenna blown off.

There's this Billy Joel song called Miami 2017, I can't get this song out of my head. I'll never hear it the same way again.

Seen the lights go out Broadway
I saw the Empire State laid low
And life went on beyond the Palisades
They all bought Cadillacs
And left there long ago

They held a concert out in Brooklyn
To watch the island bridges blow
They turned our power down
And drove us underground
But we went right on with the show

I've seen the lights go out on Broadway
I saw the ruins at my feet
You know we almost didn't notice it
We'd seen it all the time on Forty second street

They burned the churches down in Harlem
Like in that Spanish civil war
The flames were everywhere
But no one really cared
It always burned up there before

I've seen the lights go out on Broadway
I saw the mighty skyline fall
The boats were waiting at the battery
The union went on strike
They never sailed at all

They sent a carrier out from Norfolk
And picked the Yankees up for free
They said that Queens could stay
And blew the Bronx away
And sank Manhattan out at sea

You know those lights were bright on Broadway
That was so many years ago
Before we all lived here in Florida
Before the Mafia took over Mexico
There are not many who remember
They say a handful still survive
To tell the world about
The way the lights went out
And keep the memory alive

Okay, this just doesn't sound right. Not at all...

Who knew that Cancer was such a wild thing? As you crawl out of your shell, you're faced with many tasks before you. You may be a bit overwhelmed, but now that your outgoing side is kicking into overdrive, you'll fulfill your obligations with flair.

The first sentence. It's just... wrong. WRONG I SAY!

Oh yeah, the Saturn-Moon thing was only visible in Hawaii. I got pictures though. Even that night. Heh. I SNUCK OUT OF THE HOUSE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

*ahem*

You know that line in Sabrina about Linus finally running away from home? Eh. Yeah. Whatever.

I've been having this problem with my DSL, every so often, for the past three freaking months, it is... UNABLE TO CONNECT.

Yesssss.... so I don't be happy!

HA!

*ahem*

Okay, it's obvious I'm not doing too well in the head department at the moment, it's September, it's nice clear weather, and it's Saturday. That is my explanation.

right, so I thought it wasn't me. It's not me, but... okay, Covad is like, bankrupt or something, but that's not supposed to be an issue.

my link light goes out. And I never noticed. I am a terrible person.

*slurred giggling*

Hey, the Shmi figure looks great! *pumps fist*

Yeah.

right, so. I don't think i should be writing rithgt now because I'm tired. But it's happy tired, not damn, I'm tired tired.

eh, prolly won't sleep though.

I don't sleep anymore.

I mean, I eventually go to sleep, like at 9 or somethong (thong th th thong thong thing thong! dammit. thong!) something.

Then I wake up. two hours later. but i'm not supposed to BE awake two hours after I go to sleep.

this is like, since April.

It's crampin my style, man!

So. um... okay, third week of April, we were doing the take Holly to the vet for her checkup thing, my arms started breaking out in the vet's office, and I hadn't slept at all that day, even though I was tired.

okay, so then we got home and I'm like, I'm gonna go back to bed, maybe I'll sleep.

but I didn't.

So then like, I figured at some point duinf... DURING the past FIVE months, maybe my sleep thing would get it's s*** together, and I'd be fiiiiine!

No.

The weather is nice, I'm really REALLY tired right about now. but I won't sleep.

Not unless I take a sleeping pill.

But then I won't wake up until laaaaate.

Oh like that's something new.

No, see, I am not a pill person. I do not believe in the pills. I don't go like, "AGH! Pill!" and then I'm all better. No.

I went three years without taking any kind of pill, asprin, allergy pill, anything.

It wasn't worth it. I still sneezed. And once the eyepatch didn't make the migraines go away I had to resort to excedrin.

Well, okay, at first... I took asprin, tylenol and a cup of coffee. Same damn thing. But y'know, mum was a little freaked out by that, so she bought me proper excedrin, that I wouldn't blow up concocting....

*giggles*

Um. where was I?

Oh yeah, so the sleeping pills don't really work either. After a while they just don't work. Like three days in a row, I black out, black out, black out, wake up at 11 wondering how to hook my stereo to the line in on the green thing.

This is the shit I wake up thinking.

Never anything useful. Never anything good.

Okay, two days, I came up with the Argali people thing and the Porkins drama thing.

I'm 140 pounds again. :/

I was 118 in May of 1999. G****** it, I looked hot! Okay, my face was all blistered and my arms weren't much better and well, my nose bled quite a bit, but dammit I looked good!

The skin and nose crap doesn't go away. Ever. It's like the mob. Just when i thought I was out, they pull me ack in.

ACK!

heheheheh.

Yeah, so we got a new faucet. o_O Again. The handles look like the fukuku 3000. *snark*

I should be out taking pictures of the sky.

look at this!

that's where I should be, with the camera.

F this.

so I read something on alt.support.lupus that sends me to alt.support.sleep-disorders.

There's a mega thread there that starts with

"The reason you drugged out tweakers can't sleep is because you have turned your back on God!"

I think is was the quickest newsgroup perusal in history.

I'm too old for this stuff.

Last night I hit a bottom I didn't think I could ever hit again. Yeah, the PMS didn't help. But it's been a fucked up few weeks and even my 'friends' on RASSM were showing me that I didn't really even belong there.

So I went outside. I turned on the radio, even switched off the 95db filter, and Billy Joel was on. Aside from the fact that Billy Joel just rules, I thought it was kinda freaky to hear these words.

Movin' on is a chance that you have to take
Any time you try to stay - together
Whoa
Say a word out of line
And you find that the friends you had
Are gone - forever
Forever

So many faces in and out of my life
Some will last
Some will be just now and then
Life is a series of hellos and goodbyes
I'm afraid it's time for goodbye again
Say goodbye to Hollywood
Say goodbye my baby
Say goodbye to Hollywood
Say goodbye my baby

lyrics taken from the oh so amazing Billy Joel.com

Anyhoo, *I* understood it and it made me snap out of it.

Or maybe the pms just passed. :)

Ah... that was meant for Gumby's blog...

I agree with it totally though, so I'll leave it up.

I took down the link to evilzug, because they had a link to stileproject. I will not be the one that gets that site one more hit.

Anyone that doesn't know what I'm yammering about, it was animal abuse. Anyone that does know what I'm talking about, let's just say I'm all for free speech, but when people that promote animal abusing assholes start hiding behind the first amendment in order to defend the sick shit they host, especially when that shit comes from countries that don't even share the same laws, I start becoming quite fond of our second amendment.

I noticed that stileproject didn't even have an 18 or over warning. Nice. I hope any kid that was unfortunate enough to find their way to that site was sidetracked by the porn before being exposed to the other thing that website hoped to get famous for.

*bangs head on screen*

This thing working?! WTF?!

Okay, I can finally announce it now that there are no 'cheap index pages' (read: placeholders) left...

I have a site on the side... I've been working on it for a little over a year, but really only did anything with it the past month.

I give you... *pulls dusty curtain off monitor* Darth Gumby-I sense a distubance in my brain.

Yes, that's the title. It's Star Wars/Monty Python humor.

Oh nevermind. Just go there.
