Megnut has some very informative links, most of an international bend. Go there for any serious writing. I don't want to write my thoughts, they are still too chaotic.

Well so far so good.

None of my family or friends are missing, almost everyone is accounted for. And since we haven't heard from some yet we take that as a good sign that there is nothing wrong. Or someone would have contacted us by now. At least this is the hope.

It seems my cousin Billy was getting off of the subway when one of the planes hit. He got hit by a small piece of debris. He just started to run, and ran all the way to the FDR. I'm glad he is ok.

I hope all is well with you.

I can't get the image of a SNL skit that aired before the Supreme Court decision that gave Bush the Presidency.

The skit showed the president giving a talk on TV at the oval office. The first skit was Gore lecturing america.

The second skit was Bush, the Capitol burning behind him, the US in shambles.

Hope you are well. I am still in shock.

Right now I am worried about cousins and friends who work in NYC. I got an “I am out on vacation” response for Rob’s email and Keith's voice mail said he would be out of town until next week. I hope this means that they left the city.

Angela is ok, if rattled.

Blogs that are talking about the disaster.

I am still too shocked to know what I am feeling. I left work at 10:30. I was told by Tracey at 10:00 about what happened but when he added "... a plane also hit the pentagon." So I "KNEW" that it had to be a joke because that just pushed it over the top. I could see a plane hitting the towers, but not 2, and another hitting the pentagon was absurd. I was wrong.

I wish I wasn't.

I hope that you and your loved ones are safe.

One of my secret joys is Tony Hawk's Gigantic Skatepark Tour on ESPN. It just makes me happy.

So I have been quelching the desire to buy a mini-van. (If not exactly a new one.) I really really have this insane desire to go out and buy one.

So today (that is Sunday) was opinion day. I had 5 phone calls asking my opinion ranging from the PBA to Menino's re-election. By the 5th one I was annoyed and hung up.

Saw Band of Brothers with J. (He is my only friend who has explicity told me not to use his name.) Now I have to get HBO.

More page updates through out the week. I might actually move to a real server soon. I have a color scheme. Blue for weblog and archive. Green for any information about me. Black for content/more/old sites/etc. Grey for books (as it falls under content).

I like blue and green and black.

So some minor twitches that no one will notice (no one here anyway).

I'm hungry. It is more then a hunger for food, though I haven't eaten YET today. I am hungry for other things.

Security. Love. Warmth. Creative Flow.

But we will worry about all that on a later date. Ok? Cool.

Listening to Bjork's new album, Vespertine. Love it. Go, getup, right now and go, you aren't moving fast enough, dammit I said move. Lazy bones. Then buy it here.

So for some reason I no longer eat. I wait hours in the morning before I feel that my stomach will either jump out of my bod and strangle me, or that I will find sawdust attractive and start eating that. I think I have a Big Dig choclate bar downstairs. ooooh.

Well so I just finished the first round of the reworked pages. The design now up is not yet finished. I like it, cleaner then the last but there are some things I might want to fool around with. There is still alot of work to do.

So I was supposed to go to Long Island to see my doctor about my arm. He cancelled. I don't know if I will be rescheduling. That is because I just got a bill for my first visit. It was over a thousand dollars. I had already spent $1,145 on my elbow. Now when i went to my first visit at the doctors I got the brush off treatment from him, "if you were a horse I would shoot you," and other nicities. I payed $300 for the first visit. The doctor didn't even do anything so I wonder where this $1000 bill comes from.

My mother, being who she is, opened the bill, and got pissed off. She then made what are her normal marathon phone calls, and got it reduced to $300. Good thing I am working at the Bookstore again.

Oh yeah. Tim called me up and asked me to return for law rush at BU. I did. Then Ed sweet talked me into staying part time til I find a real job.

Time to rest. But one last thing: Doug finished the Pool Table. It has some odd ball movement but it is still a pool table. So now we have a game room, Darts and Pool. Night.

So I did one of those things that almost all guys do. I emailed an old girlfriend. Stupid I know. Ah well I had a dream last night and she was in it. I was back in High School. Very Vivid. She was sitting behind me in a modern lit class. The teacher droned on and on.

Oh well.

The Radiohead concert was good, Suffolk Downs is not the place to see a show. It is too flat. So it was more like watching a movie with a really good soundtrack. It was worse for Harry and Heather, as they are both shorter than me. I was able every once in awhile to actually see the stage. They were stuck with the video screen, but only when they could see it over the 6 foot tall people that seemed to surround us.

Still think that the DM show at Tweeter was better, but I am biased. The Radiohead show was better then the DM show at Jones though.

So I really need a job.

Off to play some b-ball. (Yeah ok so I broke my arm last month and prob should not play, but when do I actually listen to other people.)
