Now this is unreal. Cool, but slightly disturbing.

I'm getting worried. The mountain is still on fire. I'm pretty sure that's not a good thing.

For several months now I've been trying to find an Apples In Stereo song on Napster, but I couldn't remember the name for the life of me. Tonight, I found it! Just so you know, it's The Bird That You Can't See. I don't know how that one slipped my memory :)

Umm, the entire mountain behind my apartment is on fire right now. Should I be worried? It looks like a big volcano.

Ugh! Things have been so busy for me the past few days. When I havn't been finsihing up my English class, I've had my head buried in The Razor's Edge. I havn't gotten that far into it yet, but it seems like a really good book so far.

Last night I had to see What Lies Beneath (just in case you didn't know, it's a dead girl who isn't really dead). Now I said earlier that I hate scary movies. I should clarify. I love movies where I am scared (except for movies such as Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's movies; they scare me on a much different level), but I hate movies where all they do is startle you for two hours. You know, the timely picture crashing (several times), the dog crashing into the room during the "suspensful" attempt to contact the dead, the poor maiden turning around to find the killer right behind her, etc. In my mind, they merely cover up for a lame-o plot. Maybe it's because I, by nature, am a very jumpy person. It doesn't take much to startle me. But beyond that, the movie didn't have any redeeming qualities. And I'll be darned if Michelle Pfiefer isn't looking extremely old. And to think that I could have seen X-men. Poop.

I just found an mp3 cover of "Baby One More Time" by the Fountains of Wayne. Funny, funny stuff. To hear it like that, it's almost a good song. Almost.

In other computer issues, I seem to be having a problem with Java applets in IE 5.0/Mac. I don't think they ever work. For example, on sodaconstructor, all I get is a blank screen where (I imagine) the construction set belongs. Do you know how to fix this? Let me know. In a side note, while looking around for the address of Soda Constructor, I found the site that epitomizes everything wrong with the web. It's so wrong on so many levels. (watch the entire big flash file)

Tonight I'm going to go see What Lies Beneath, much against my will. It looks scary. I hate scary movies. And no, I am not six years old. I want to see X-men. Cartoon characters aren't scary. Even if they do have big razor claws. Unfortunatelly, I have no say in the matter, as with most things in my relationship.

Does your Blogger do this? See the first post on Saturday (last chronologically) and notice that they are actually TWO POSTS COMBINED! To finish the first post, go to Factory 512. Do not go read my research paper unless you are extremely bored and can't fall asleep.

It's Pioneer Day here in Utah. A state holiday much more celebrated than the 4th of July here. That means NOTHING is open today. Every store in the state is closed while everyone remembers their pioneer ancestors and go to rodeos. Being from Cleveland, seeing people walk down the street in their "Little House on the Prarie" getup looks a little odd, but I'm afraid this beast is much larger than I can do anything about. Time to go to the hodown over at Jed Sorenson's lumber mill.

I am SO sick and tired of TV scan line images. You can't fool me. I know you weren't ever on TV. And I don't know what's wrong with everyone's TV anyway, mine never has horizontal lines across the screen.

Do you know why I hate Jakob Nielsen? Statements like "Apple is not planning a long term future for the Mac" is one of them. And his ugly as sin site. And he's a bad dresser.

I think I may get my own domain next week. I'd tell you the names I'm considering, but if I know you, you'll go and steal them all.
